Papercrafting Monthly Blog Hop - Mothers Day

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Today I'm joining the fabulous paper crafting monthly blog hop of fabulous international crafters.  Join us for a world tour of inspiration!

This month we are celebrating items that are on the LAST CHANCE list which means they will sell out soon - and THIS stamp set - Stippled Roses bundle is absolutely gorgeous and one of my favourites!

We are also celebrating Mother's Day which is perfect for this set.  I've used a Paper Piecing technique with this set.  I stamped onto the gorgeous multicoloured Bright & Beautiful DSP (which is also on the Last Chance list) using Berry Burst and Pretty Peacock inks and then fussy cut the flowers to piece them back into the image which makes it looks like its been coloured!

This is certainly a project for those who love fussy cutting, but I've also used the Stippled Roses dies for the background leaves and the large outline of the flowers.

My background stamping was using Bubble Bath ink and one of the fabulous Online Exclusive stamp sets - Elements of Text - what a fabulous stamp set!

Make sure you keep hopping to see lots of AWESOME inspiration!!
