Create your own DSP with Scrapbooking~

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Today is Scrapbooking Global day!! Each month we share some great inspiration for you1!

This month Tina has challenged us to creat our own DSP!

Here's my DSP in a floral frame and stamped in the style of the amazing Ruth Trice

I've used the awesome scrapbooking stamp sets Everyday You & Me along with Elements of Text.

My stamping colours were inspired by my photos - Blushing Bride, Moody Mauve, Boho Blue, Pool Pary, Soft Sea Foam, and Basic Beige with touches of Lost Lagoon for the dotty elements.

After all the stamping, I added more colour using a blening brush.  There was some ink left on it after I stamped the largest roses.  I inked them up first using Blushing Bride and then added Moody Mauve around the edges with a blending brush.

I love the way you can tear and twist the Gold Trim to create great textural interest!

When I finished  the stamping, the rest of the page is actually REALLY simple - just the photos with gorgeous open weave gold trim scrunched underneath, and the title and journalling!

I really hope YOU are inspired to try this!!
Make sure you keep hopping to see lots of AMAZING projects!!
