Scrapbooking using Memories and More cards

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Today, I'm keen to share some Scrapbooking Inspiration with you!!

Our Blog Hop is anything goes in our scrapbooking.  I love being part of this blog hop because it gets me scrapping every month!!  I love the deadline of actually getting my pages done!

This page has a LOT of photos - I love all our family time with my siblings and parents and cousins and everyone, so I really wanted to show lots of photos!!  So, due to the quantity of photos, I kept the rest of it really simple (I think?)

I've only used Memories and More cards and 1 sheet of white 12 x 12 cardstock!!  I fussy cut a few of the cards and use some of the cool stickers which makes it so easy.  There are 5 of the Memories and More cards used on this page - which means I have HEAPS left over for more cardmaking and scrapbooking!  The only extra thing I did was to hand draw a line around the edge - because I missed doing stamping and felt guilty about how easy this page was!!

Make sure you keep hopping for LOTS more great Scrapbooking Inspiration!!

Online Exclusives Hydrangers for CTC#510

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight you get to enjoy our amazing CASEING the CATTY blog hop.  To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (catty!)

This week, we are CASEING from our new Online Exclusives collection.

And I have just received the lovely Thankful Garden bundle and I'm really loving playing with these gorgeous hydrangers from this set!!

I coloured the flowers in two different ways.  Which one is your favourite?

This card above was the first one I coloured by doing the whole bloom as one big flower.  I used Boho Blue, Fresh Freesia and some shadows with Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends.

And I coloured this full bloom by colouring each little flower individually. I do like how this one turned out!  I've also paired the gorgeous flowers with the Elements of Text stamp set which is just brilliant for background details.

The text was stamped using Gray Granite and Fresh Freesia for the splodges - along with the super soft velvet ribbon and the rainbow dots!

So, do you have a favourite colour way for this flower?

Inside the card is some more awesome Elements of Text stamping.

Up next is the extraordinary Peta

Welcome to 2025 Funky Folds blog hops!!

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm hopping with an awesome bunch of talented crafters who love dabbling with folds!!
We are a group of like-minded paper crafters who love to make cards with funky folds. Funky actually means "modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way"... so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think 'easel', 'pop-up', 'gatefold', 'z-fold', 'shaped' or 3D cards etc. The list is endless.
All Blog Hops have an 'anything goes' theme using any type of 'funky' card fold.

My card for our hop is an exploding box card!!  I think this is a fun card and works so well with flowers and butterflies and then had the brainwave that the mushrooms would work perfectly!!

Having the coordinating punch works so well for these stamps - so much easier to create the cute pop up elements!

ON the back of the card is the writing panel so the card can be kept open to display!!

And the fun elements is that this card folds flat for easy postage!

Make sure you keep hopping to see lots of amazing inspiration just for you!

Barn Door inspiration for a masculine card

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm hopping with an awesome bunch of talented Australian crafters who love sharing with you!!

Michelle has shared a fabulous image with us to get the inspiration started!  And I had a great time designing my barn door card for our upcoming Masculine Card class!

The Country Woods paper works brilliantly with this design!! I have also got a sneak peek for the fabulous Tags to Go dies coming this month in our new Online Exclusives offering!

The vegetation in the front of the door comes from the Last Chance Garden Meadow dies - by adding a bit of sponging, it really comes to life!

I couldn't resist add more of the gorgeous keys from the Tags to Go dies inside the card!

Make sure you keep hopping to see lots of amazing inspiration just for you!
