Our Funky Folds Blog Hop Christmas Edition sharing inspiration from our friends.

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm hopping with an awesome bunch of talented crafters who love dabbling with folds!!  

We are a group of like-minded paper crafters who love to make cards with funky folds. Funky actually means "modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way"... so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think 'easel', 'pop-up', 'gatefold', 'z-fold', 'shaped' or 3D cards etc. The list is endless. 

All Blog Hops have an 'anything goes' theme using any type of 'funky' card fold.  THIS month, though, we are sharing inspiration from our friends with a fabulous Christams theme!!  

My card is inspired by the amazing Tracy and her gorgeous card here.  Tracy must be one of the queens of the Fun Folds - she seems to create the most amazing projects!!!  This one is called a Double Bendy Fun Fold.

I've adapted my project to feature the stunning Graceful Greenery vellum which looks fantastic on white cardstock!!

The back of the card mirrors the front (without the embossed panel, and a little bit of room to write!)

I love that this card folds flat to fit into a standard envelope!

Now, I have to find someone very special to send this card to this year!!
