A fun sketch for our Scrapbook Monthly Hop!!

Today is Scrapbooking Global day!! Each month we share some great inspiration for you1!  

Sharon is sharing our fun challenge this month!!  

And I do love a sketch challenge.  

I've chosen dry embossing with a new Sale-a-bration embossing folder and also added some shimmery white embossing paste onto my embossed circles.  

Again, I've used a bunch of the papers from the Autumn to Remember Workshop kit - these colours seemed to coordinate really well with our clothing on the day!  

My circles are cut from two tone paper and designer paper from the workshop kit.  I've cut them using the Stylish Shapes and Everyday Details dies.  I also have a few circle sponged onto my page using Basic Beige ink and a stencil.  

The stamped title is one of our fabulous Sale-a-bration offerings coming up in January - FREE with qualifying orders!  

There are a couple of stickers from the Autumn To Remember workshop kit too - mainly because they happen to be circles!!  

The tiny dots are splodges of Wink of Stella dropped all over the page.

Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop - Gold and Silver

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Today I'm joining the fabulous paper crafting monthly blog hop of fabulous international crafters.  Join us for a world tour of inspiration!

This month we are celebrating Gold and Silver.  And I'm focussing on Gold along with a sneak peek from our Mini Catalogue! 

My title is comprised of the Delightful Wishes dies, the Mini Alphabet Dies and also a couple of the Joyful Sayings Ephemera.  

All of the gorgeous die cut flowers come from the Delightful Wishes dies.  I've added extra tags all over the page from the Tags for the Season ephemera because they have gold edged detail on them!! The greetings come from Gone Fishing and I've heat embossed it with Gold powder.  

I do love the gorgeous open weave Gold trim at the edges of each of the tags.  

In the background (very hard to see) of the page is some very light stamping with a gorgeous new set coming in our ONline Exclusives - Elements of Text.  Under each of the photos is some Gold Mercury vellum.  And the final touch is some stunning Low Profile dots.

This week, we are CASEING ANYTHING!!  So I've chosen some inspiration for another Christmas card!

My inspiration is the simple card on the right featuring the double ribbon and the word feature!

I've used the lovely Season of Elegance paper for the front of the card - the Cherry Cobbler and Gold is soooo rich and luxurious!

The greeting comes from the Christmas Labels bundle.  I had to add some white cardstock under the double ribbon detail so it would stand out better on the gorgeous paper background.

And the only embellishment inside is another piece of ribbon.

And the final touch is some sparkle gems!!

Sneak Peek for Colour INKspriation #179

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm joining in with the Colour INKspiration crew and our awesome colour combination!!

Check out these gorgeous colours - so bright and happy for Christmas.

However, my project is now about Christmas!!  I'm so excited to share some NEW products with you!

These gorgeous flowers come with some really cool dies and they are coming in our Mini Catalogue starting from 7th January 2025.  What a wonderful way to begin a new year!

And these super cute banners are from another die bundle with gorgeous and fun ideas to inspire you!

I've added extra detail with some bakers twine and rainbow dots.

And had a ton of fun colouring these gorgeous flowers using Stampin' Blends.
