Christmas Funky Fold for your tree

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm hopping with an awesome bunch of talented crafters who love dabbling with folds!!  

We are a group of like-minded paper crafters who love to make cards with funky folds. Funky actually means "modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way"... so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think 'easel', 'pop-up', 'gatefold', 'z-fold', 'shaped' or 3D cards etc. The list is endless. 

All Blog Hops have an 'anything goes' theme using any type of 'funky' card fold.

This fold was introduced to me by one of my team members, but I don't really know what it's called!!  So I'm calling it a double gate fold.

I just looooove the Graceful Greenery vellum with white cardstock - I think it's so pretty!

I've paired this gorgeous paper with the Festive Glimmer paper for the Golden Greenery die cut fronds (which coordinates perfectly with the Gracefull Greenery vellum too).  But, then I took it all up a notch and coloured the Sheer Silver ribbon with my Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends to give the complete gorgeous greenery vibe!!  

The centre of the card opens symmetrically to feature a centre panel for your greeting.
