Lemon Christmas for Colour INKspiration #175

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm joining in with the Colour INKspiration crew and our awesome colour combination!!

I hope you can see that I've really leant on the image for my inspiration!  I knew I wanted to use these colours for Christmas (because it's so different!) but then I really needed the inspiration image to get me going!!

For my Faux Stamp Card I've used strips for the piecing on the front.  Each of these cardstrips are cut from the two toned Crushed Curry cardstock (new with our scrapbook offering in the Autumn to Remember Workshop Kit!!) which gave me light and dark just like the steps image!  I reversed them alternately down the card.  I hope you can see they have a slight variation of tone?

I've embossed them all using the Eyelet embossing folder and then added sparkle using Shimmery Embossing paste.

The measurements for my Faux Stamp Fold are:

White Card Base - 10.5 x 29 cm scored at 3, 6, 17.5cm

White Faux Stamp - 7.5 x 21 scored at 14.5cm

Crumb Cake - 7 x 14

White - 6.7 x 13.7

Crushed Curry Two Tone cardstock 6 pieces at 2 x 6 cm

I then adhered my white cardstock to Foam Adhesive sheet so that my DecorativeTree die cut would stay together on the card giving it some textural interest!!

Inside the card is some simple stamping.

Here I hope you can see the lovely sparkle from the shimmery embossing paste!!
