What's best about Memory Keeping?

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Today, I'm keen to share some Scrapbooking Inspiration with you!!

Our Blog Hop is anything goes in our scrapbooking.  I love being part of this blog hop because it gets me scrapping every month!!  I love the deadline of actually getting my pages done!  This month I was inspired by this lovely page in the Mini Catalogue on page 55.  I love it's calm simplicity.

My stamp set bundle is the Friends for Life bundle from the annual Catalogue.  What's best about Memory Keeping is creating these Special Moments out of ordinary events.  Out friends visited for afternoon tea and we took a snap, and it was just a wonderful opportunity to celebrate having great friends!  We have so many blessings to enjoy!!

And the colours are Shy Shamrock and Peach Pie (mainly because they were the colours left in my designer paper pack that I used in the background!!)  I thought they worked quite nicely with the colours in my photo.

Can you see that lovely die cut word?  It actually only says 'friend' but I wanted it to be plural, soooo I created an 's' but die cutting the word again and then chopping the letters 'n' and 'd' and laying them sideways - looks pretty cool I think!

It's pretty rare for me to create a page with only one photo!!  And I do like all the white space and the simplicity of my page!!  I die cut the hearts to create a mask and then used a blending brush and Peach Pie ink for this little detail.

Make sure you keep hopping for LOTS more great Scrapbooking Inspiration!!
