More Funky fold inspiration for you

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm joining in the fun with a blog hop celebrating cool folds!  

My card has a fun curved front on it that enables it to stand up!  

And It also folds flat to fit inside a standard envelope. 

On the back of the card is somewhere for you to write to your recipient.

Because the card has the fun standing feature, I though it worked really well with the glorious Thoughtful Journey paper.

And then for the back of the card, I replicated the scenery using ink and blending brushes and a bit of water painter to smoosh the colour a little! The stamp set I have used is the Happiest Day stamp set.

And for the features on the front of the card I've used the Wanted to Say dies and silver glimmer paper.  

I hope you like it!!  The measurements are:  14 x 10 cm scored at 7cm for the fold in the middle, and the longer strip on the front is 2cm  x 16 cm scored at 1 cm at each end to tuck under the layers.
