What is your favourite Sale-a-bration paper? CTC#454

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or to Copy And Share Everything, and we love to CASE our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This week, we are CASEING from our gorgeous Sale-a-bration Catalogue and I just love the gorgeous Flight & Airy paper so I've CASED the card on page 6 featuring the circle.

I've adapted one of my favourite cards featuring a concertina fold so the card closes to be a square card about 10.5 x 10.5cm.

The card is scored at 3, 6, 13 and 20 cm to create the concertina.  I've then cut some of the gorgeous Flight and Airy paper to embellish each of the panels - except the writing panel in the middle.

It was fun using Lemon Lolly ink to embellish all the Deckled Circles and then add a fussy cut bird.  I love the addition of the Seasonal Branches die cut with extra flowers.

I love the finished card and just love the inspiration given to us from the catalogue.

Have you tried the new pillow boxes yet? CTC#453

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectivly Edit or to Copy And Share Everything and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This week, the challenge is to CASE from the BEE Mine section of the catalogue - which is TOTAL cuteness.

And I just HAD to case this cute little pillow box!! - Which is actually bigger than it looks!

I've simplified my box by stamping all over the pillow box before putting it together.

I've wrapped some paper around the box, leaving the opening free so the recipient doesn't have to pull it apart to use it!!  I've also tied some of the gorgeous Sweet Sorbet ribbon that comes in the Suite with a lush bow - which always looks glorious.  I think the decorative Daffodil Delight circle makes a great statement - as does the chopped up sentiment!!  And the finishing touch is a little fussy cut jar from the coordinating designer paper.

This gift could be for anything - Valentines, Easter or a cute birthday gift.

make sure you keep hopping around to see lots of great inspiration

Scrapping the Men in My Life

Hello and Welcome to our monthly scrapbooking blog hop sharing lots of brilliant ideas from memory keepers all over the world.  We use Stampin' Up! products on our pages.

This month, our designer is the lovely Tina.

And what a GREAT theme!!  I have 2 very precious men in my life - my darling husband and our son.  (we also have 3 daughters, so it's just lovely when these two fellows have time together!)

My page features the AMAZING Sweet Thoughts Memories and More cards and stickers - AWESOME.

My first step was to use my Score Board to divide my page into 9 even squares.

I chopped all the photos to 3 x 3 inches and mounted them onto Pretty Peacock cardstock.

Then, all I had to do was play with the Memories and More cards!!

Make sure you check out all the other amazing pages this month!!

Paper crafting Monthly Blog Hop - Sale-a-bration!!

Hello and Welcome to our Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop!!  This group is international with lots of brilliant contributions that will really inspire you!

My card features the lovely Sale-a-bration stamp set: Cradled in Love.

I've gone for a generic colour scheme as I don't know who this card is for yet, but I love the cool fun z fold with the baby cot in the middle.

The card folds to fit into a standard envelope easily.

ON the back of the card is a lovely stamped panel for writing a greeting to the recipients.

Here's another view of the card and cradle.

The Measurements for this card :
Lemon Lolly card base 10.5 x 29.8cm scored at 7.5 and 15cm on the long side
I have Lemon Lolly panels for each section of the card.  They are:  2 pieces 7 x 10cm and another piece 10 x 14cm
The white cradle is made with a long strip into a box shape
It is 4cm x 29.8cm scored at 5, 14, 19 & 28cm
Each end of the cradle is 5 x 8cm.

To create the vertical rungs of the cradle I stamped the solid pencil piece from Trusty Tools repeatedly to make the strips using Lemon Lolly ink.

The cradle ends were created using the Very Best Trio punch and the legs punched using the Modern Oval punch.  These are attached to each end of the box shape.

When the little cradle is made, it is attached to the very centre of the z fold card.

I hope you have enjoyed my project - keep hopping to see lots of great projects!!
