Hello and Welcome to our fantastic colour INKspiration challenge!
This is a super fun challenge featuring gorgeous images and amazing colour combinations!
Well, I love this image!! But the colours also work amazingly splendidly for Christmas!!
So I've used them with the fabulous Christmas Classics stamp set (which is retiring so make sure you order it FAST if you'd like to get it before it's totally sold out!!)
I just love how EASY this stamp set is to use! I've stamped the leaves and then the berries and added some blending, and I'm done!
Because the card is so simple, I had to add some layering and the ribbon to give more interest!
Inside the card is also some gorgeous stamping!! These colours were a total dream to use for Christmas!
INKspired to join the challenge? It's so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by checking out all of the creations of the Colour INKspiration Crew in the challenge album on our Facebook page. Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY.
To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing catalogues.
This week, we are CASEING a punch project from our Mini Catalogue.
I decided to CASE the little card on page 39 featuring the cute Snowflake punch.
My CASE is actually very close to the original. I used the Artistic Expression Masks for the snowflakes and stamped using Azure Afternoon and Coastal Cabana.
This card features some white head embossing (very messy!!) which is a different technique for me.
I've also flicked a bit of ink on the inside of the card - which I do like!
So, I was a bit ambivalent about my card, and decided to create a scrap page too inspired by the SAME punch project in the mini catalogue.
I've used the same double punch detail featured in the inspiration project - and this is a technique I really like!! A new discovery for me for this project!
I think this page is a bit busy in the background, and perhaps I should have added more sponged colour in the background to tone it down a bit?
This is the detail that is totally CASED from the catalogue - and I think it looks great!!
Hello and Welcome to our Monthly Scrapbooking Blog Hop! I love this hop as it keeps me scrapping and somehow I make time every when it looks like there is none!
Our group is an international bunch of amazing creative memory keepers and every month there is so much amazing inspiration!!
This month, the theme is all about Layers - and it was designed by the lovey Delys from New Zealand!
This was a bit of a challenge for me - so in the end I just added 3 layers to every part of my page - the journalling labels, the title and the photo and the page itself!! That qualifies as Layers upon Layers doesn't it???
I am rather time poor this week, so my page relies very heavily upon the totally stunning awesome glorious Winter Meadow paper - love love love this design!
Actually this design did a lot of work for me too because there are layers upon layers of imagery on the paper!! Right? And also the design meant I didn't really have to add very much!
I used the extra tool for the Take You Pick Tool which has the craft knife and cut along the edge of the image to tuck my photo behind part of it!! Do you like that idea? The greeting was a sinch because I used the fabulous Love For You dies which actually have ..... yep, you guessed it - 3 layers!! Woohoo.
I used the Heartfelt Hexagon punch for the journalling pieces and punched bits from Basic White, Misty Moonlight and the gold and silver adhesive paper - totally LOOOOOOOVE that paper!!
Finally I DID do a bit of real work and die cut stuff using the Magical Meadow dies and some stamped images from the Magical Meadow stamp set. I coloured a couple of the die cuts using markers.
So, do you like it??
Make sure you keep hopping to see LOTS of amazing scrapping inspiration!!
