Kit to the rescue for Scrapbooking!!

Hello and Welcome to our monthly scrapbooking blog hop!!  

We are a global group of scrapbookers who use Stampin' Up! products for all our pages.  

This month, the theme for our hop is to use kits!!  The theme was designed by Sherry who loves to use kits for scrapbooking!!  

The kit I used for my page is the Boho Beach kit!  It's a gorgeous beachy kit with fabulous colours.

Our photo is not really at the beach but at the Mooloolabah Wharf were there are lots of restaurants overlooking the water.  But I thought the colours in our photo worked well with this kit.  

Can you see the patterned paper underneath the photo?  This is one of the envelopes folded out and cut to the right size and layered with Pool Party cardstock and white.  

I've used the 2 printed cards for my background design and then added the die cut details around the page for some journaling and interest.  

Side note here:  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new tip on our Stampin' Write markers - so much better for writing details on Scrap pages!!  

The base of my scrap page is basic white stamped with some of the images from the kit using Pecan Pie and Pool Party inks.  

It's unusual for me to scrap using only 1 photo - but it does make it so much easier AND looks fantastic!
