Gorgeous Winter Meadow paper inspiration CTC#443

This week, we are CASEING the colours of the gorgeous Winter Meadow papers.  And, I took the easy way out and used the paper!!  I've been having fun creating this fun fold to show off gorgeous papers, and so, I wanted to try it with the stunning Winter Meadow paper too!!  

This is an easy card that concertina's on it self.

And it can be displayed to show off all the gorgeousness too!  

When you fold it out, it shows off the stunning papers!!  Here's a video showing how this card is made:

Sneak Peek for Bee Mine Suite (shhh)

Hello and Welcome to our Colour INKspiration Challenge!! 

Check out the amazing image we have for inspiration today!!

I think the combination of Poppy Parade and Pool Party is amazing for Christmas - so fresh and crisp..... but as you can see, I couldn't make it work for me with the other colours too!  

So, I grabbed a set I haven't used yet and used this colour challenge as my excuse to play with it!!  Isn't it sooooo cute!!  This Bee Mine Suite was a very special perk for me because I'm registered for our Stampin' Up! online event in November!!  So exciting!!  

As the name would suggest, it's all about this super cute bee!!  BUT I didn't use that for my card.  The coordinating punch has a couple of gorgeous hearts - and the big heart actaully works for the bees wing!!  AWESOME!!  I've used the heart to populate my little flower patch - and use the totally adorable little face stamps for them!!  Sooo cute!!  AND sweet!  

I've made the card into an easel fold, using Crumb Cake bakers twine as my anchor for the easel.  The greeting is also chopped up from a much longer greeting in the stamp set!!  And can you see the wonderful enamel hearts next to the greeting?  They are part of the FABULOUS suite too!  I don't usually do 'cute' but this is so adorable!  

Here's the inside of the card and the featured Esposed Brick embossing folder that has a little crumb cake ink added to it!!

To CASE is to Copy and Share Everything or to Case And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (CATTY).

This week, we are CASEING a layout from page 48 of our Mini Catalogue.

I loved this layout so much, that I've created the same card in 3 different colour ways.  

My main focus for this layout was to feature the snow flakes stencil from the Abundant Beauty masks.

This lead me to using the lovely Snowflake punch for the greeting.

I've used vellum for the middle layer and then I had to add some sparkle to show off the gorgeous detail.

Inside the card features some more snowflakes created using a very soft touch with the blending brush.

Simple and Elegant Night Divine card

Kit to the rescue for Scrapbooking!!

Hello and Welcome to our monthly scrapbooking blog hop!!  

We are a global group of scrapbookers who use Stampin' Up! products for all our pages.  

This month, the theme for our hop is to use kits!!  The theme was designed by Sherry who loves to use kits for scrapbooking!!  

The kit I used for my page is the Boho Beach kit!  It's a gorgeous beachy kit with fabulous colours.

Our photo is not really at the beach but at the Mooloolabah Wharf were there are lots of restaurants overlooking the water.  But I thought the colours in our photo worked well with this kit.  

Can you see the patterned paper underneath the photo?  This is one of the envelopes folded out and cut to the right size and layered with Pool Party cardstock and white.  

I've used the 2 printed cards for my background design and then added the die cut details around the page for some journaling and interest.  

Side note here:  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new tip on our Stampin' Write markers - so much better for writing details on Scrap pages!!  

The base of my scrap page is basic white stamped with some of the images from the kit using Pecan Pie and Pool Party inks.  

It's unusual for me to scrap using only 1 photo - but it does make it so much easier AND looks fantastic!
