Masterfully Made strip technique for Colour INKspiration challenge #146

Hello and Welcome to our Colour INKspiration challenge featuring some gorgeous Stampin'  Up! colours.

This is an amazing inspiration image this week!  

As the colours are soooooo bright dynamic, I went with a simple technique to use them AND it shows off some of the great designer paper that's still on sale for another 2 DAYS - make sure you get it while it's on special!!  

I've alternated pieces of the amazing Masterfully Made designer paper and then added a greeting from the Gorgeously Made stamp set punched out using the Alphabest Punch.  I've also added a little bit of Blackberry Bliss card in a mock ribbon underneath the greetings. 

Inside the card repeats the theme.

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY.

This week, we are caseing a fabulous sketch!!  I love it's simplicity!!  

What fabulous inspiration for our month featuring Designer papers!!  

I have chosen to continue my fabulous love affair with the glorious Earthen Textures Suite.  

I've also been inspired by an amazing project shared by a wonderful project share by Silvie here.

I love the ombre of the Earthen Elegance paper on my card!!  And I love the combination of the Pretty Peacock and Copper Clay colours together.  I love all the die cut elements together that Silvie shared and I love how she used the designer paper for the die cut elements too.  My greeting comes from the Sending Smiles stamp set.  

I've stamped some of the images from Earthen Textures stamp set for the inside of the card.

My card is a little tent fold so it stands on his desk to remind him of great fishing trips - here's the back for me to write my message to him!!

This week, we are CASEING from a whole chapter of the catalogue chock full of gorgeous projects!

I have been inspired by the lovely Earthen Textures Suite and the way the cluster of vases create interest and texture on each of the cards - especially the one on the far left.

So I've used it as my embellishment for a scrapbook page!!  

I added a few extra pots to include my journalling and also to use up a couple of baskets from the Crafting with You bundle that I had loitering on my desk!

The torn edges of the vertical strips of paper were also inspired by the little hints of torn paper from the inspiration card.

And the colours in this suite worked beautifully with our photos!  

The title was fussy cut from some paper in the Delightfully Eclectic collection.
