Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.
To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.
This week, we are CASEING an embossing project from any catalogue. Embossing covers 3 different techniques - there's heat embossing shown above, dry embossing using a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine or embossing with Embossing Paste.
My project features embossing using the Leaf Fall embossing folder featured in the June to Dec Mini Catalogue. I've also CASED the layout of the card using this glorious folder.
I embossed our vellum cardstock and then added a little colour using Soft Suede and a blending brush.
The Leaf Labels and Amber Gems worked perfectly with this gorgeous Leaf Fall embossing folder. The stamping comes from the super useful Sending Smiles stamp set and coordinating Sending Dies - these are a fabulous bundle!! I've also die cut the leaves from the Sending Dies and our gorgeous gold glimmer paper.
I've also added some lovely wooden Textural Elements embellishments which I've left raw - the colour worked well with the lovely leaves. Under my Sending die cut is a little piece of Texture Chic paper.
Inside I've added a couple more leaves using the Leaf Fall embossing folder sponged with a little Soft Suede. I hope you like this project featuring embossing. Make sure you keep hopping around everyone for some fabulous inspiration.
UP next is the amazing Rebecca and her festive card!! |
