Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.
To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.
This week, our challenge is brilliant!! CASE a glittery project!! And they are everywhere!
I eventually decided to case the layout of this gift box on page 30 of the Mini Catalogue. I have actually cased this layout before here.
This time, I've case the layout for the front of a gift envelope that fits some Festive Pearls inside!! The little envelope measures 14.8cm x 21cm. I've scored along the long edge at 9.5 & 19cm and at 1cm on the short side to create the pocket base.
I'll make a video showing how I made this packaging - subscribe to my YouTube channel here so you don't miss it!!
The front of the packet features the gorgeous Snowflake Specialty vellum.
I've stamped using Cottage Rose this wonderful greeting onto a die cut label from the Labels Aglow dies using Orchid Oasis ink. The flowers are also stamped and cut using the Cottage Rose bundle. I've punched some sweet daisies from the White glimmer paper and the InColour Glimmer paper. The dragonfly was created by using the glitter washi tape. I taped several strips of washi onto a scrap of white cardstock and then punched using the Dragonfly punch. The washi tape is also behind the label looking a little like ribbon. I've tied a bow using Orchid Oasis metallic ribbon.
And my final touch was some gorgeous sequins!
Check out my video showing you how I created this cute package!
I hope you keeping hopping!! Up next is the amazing Sandra! |

Oh wow, your glittery card is so pretty! The printed vellum looks amazing as a background, and the layering under the sentiment label is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThe snowflake specialty vellum is gorgeous. I totally missed this in the catalogue. I love how it gets the different colours in the light.
