Oh Christmas Tree, your branches green delight me CTC#380

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To  CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues which are full of inspiration.

This week, we are CASEING a project featuring a Christmas Tree - what a super fun challenge!!

I was inspired by the gorgeous card on page 32 featured in the Lights Aglow pages of the July to Dec Mini Catalogue.  I've completely changed the colours, but I'm pretty sure you can see the inspiration!  My base card is one of the fabulous Santa's Express cards and envelopes.

My tree has been heat embossed with white powder onto Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper and then flooded with Shaded Spruce and Daffodil Delight inks and a water painter to create this gorgeous emboss resist watercoloured tree.  I've also kept the same circle element by die cutting using the Labels Aglow Dies and also the largest scalloped Layering Circle die.

I've used the same gorgeous Lights Aglow paper as the original - just in a different colour scheme.    The gorgeous foil accents in the paper really lift this whole project.  My finishing touch is the sparkly White Glittered Organdy Ribbon.

Up next is the super fabulous Sandra and her Christmas Tree inspiration.

Colour INKspiration #126 Dragonfly Garden

Hello and Welcome to our Colour INKspiration challenge.

This is an amazing challenge using Stampin' Up! colours and gorgeous inspiration images.

The inspiration pic is glorious, BUT, I really found these colours a huge challenge!

To help me cope with the bright nature of all of these colours, I've used a markering technique to colour the gorgeous flowers from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set.

The dragonflies were stamped onto Vellum and then punched with the Dragonfly Punch.  They were then coloured using a Wink of Stella brush to add glimmer.

I've also used the Lovely Labels pick a punch for the greeting detail.

Inside the card repeats the layering and greeting detail from the front.

Sale-a-bration Inspiration CTC#379

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (Catty).

This week, we are CASEING the Sale-a-bration catalogue.

My project is a CASE of this gorgeous little tag from page 12 on the page featuring the fun Tree Lots Dies.  This is the tag that I used for all the name tags on the kits at my Retreat Day this weekend.

I've used the fun Leaf Label and Amber Gem pack combined with the gorgeous Christmas Lights stamp set for the little starry stamped details.   The little piece of paper in the middle comes from the Texture Chic designer paper which coordinated beautifully with the Pale Papaya cardstock.

The greeting is from Lovely You.  The tags on the kits also had each person's name in the centre of the leaf.  The corners of the tag and the ribbon hole were punched using the Best Trio punch.

To finish off, the tags are tied with the gorgeous gold ribbon from the Lights Aglow Suite.

Make sure you keep hopping around everyone - up next is the amazing Rebecca.

We'd love you to join our challenge with your project too - here's the link!!
