Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.
To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything, or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (Catty).
This week, we are CASING an embossing project - which could mean several techniques!! There is the use of an embossing folder, as illustrated above, or using embossing paste, or heat embossing using ink and powder - which is what my project features.
I've been inspired by the very beginning of the Annual Catalogue - on page 6, and used the lovely Cottage Rose bundle for my card.
This is a super fun box fold called a Decorative Corner Card inspired by the amazing Lou here.
I've stamped greeting on 2 panels using Early Espresso, and then heat embossed the flower using White embossing powder. I then coloured all the flowers using Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow and a water painter.
I love the soft messy look of the water colouring on the Vanilla cardstock.
This gorgeous card folds flat for easy postage in a standard envelope.
Make sure you keep hopping around everyone to see lots of fabulous Embossing projects!!
UP next is the totally awesome Sandra! Enjoy!! |

ReplyDeleteThe flowers look amazing with the embossing powder outline and then water coloured. What a fun fold that would look lovely on display on anyone’s home.
