Sentimental Swirls for Colour INKspiration #120

Hello and Welcome!!

Tonight I'm sharing a simple project featuring these gorgeous colours!!

Such a beautiful image and lovely colours!!

I'm featuring a lovely stamp set called Sentimental Swirls and created a simple card.  The background was sponged with the Soft Sea Foam using a blending brush.

The flowers were punched using the lovely Strawberry builder punch (which is now reduced to $15.50!!  woohoo)  which coordinates perfectly!!  They have been finished with some Opal Rounds.

My finishing touch is some gorgeous Just Jade ribbon!!

Lovely You to Farewell the Annual Catalogue CTC#366

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogue.

This week is our LAST week CASEING our Annual Catalogue, and so we are sharing our final salute to this marvellous catalogue!!

2021-2022 Annual Catalogue p36 Copyright Stampin' Up! ©

My project was inspired by this very simple card on page 36 featuring the Lovely You stamp set.

I've used the same layout from the card and applied it to a scrapbook page.  I've used very similar colours which worked perfectly for my Christmas photos.

As this tomorrow is ANZAC day, I added some poppies to my scrapbook page too - which worked very well with the colour scheme (luckily!!).  I've coloured the blooms from the Painted Poppies stamp set using Real Red and Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends, and then fussy cut them out to add to my page.

I've also stepped up the original layout a little by adding some Designer Series paper under my photos to give them a little depth.  I've used White Ink to stamp some leaf details as well as some Crumb Cake tone on tone stamping which was featured in the original project. Both of these images and the greeting come from the sweet Lovely You stamp set.

While this is a very simple scrapbook page, I'm pretty happy with the final result - and loved that I was able to scrap Christmas photos using 2 generic stamp sets!!

Up next on our awesome hop is the fabulous Sandra!!

Very Vellum scrapbooking!!

Hello and Welcome!!

Today I'm participating in a fun blog hop with this fabulous group of AHMAZING creative scrappers!!

Our theme this month was decided by the amazing Sharni - who is such a talented scrapper!  You need to see her work on her blog at https://www.sharnihaines.com/

This month the theme for our Scrapbooking hop is Vellum - and we have lots of gorgeous vellum to share with you today!!

My project features Shimmery Vellum in Evening Evergreen and also the Layering Designs 12 x 12 vellum.  I have scrunched and then sponged the layering designs using Garden Green ink and a blending brush to help highlight the textures of the vellum.

I've used the Shimmery Vellum with the gorgeous Artistic dies to add more texture and interest to my page.

The stamp set featured is the fun On the Horizon set and the coordinating Horizons dies.  This title featured above was hand written to coordinate with the other stamped image in the previous photo.

I have also used White ink and the Forever Ferns stamp set to stamp onto the vellum and also onto the background card stock.

You probably know by now that I do love greens, and usually most of my photos are from outdoor events - so the greens featured on my page are Garden Green, Shaded Spruce, Evening Evergreen and the sweet Genial Gems which are Mint Macaron.

I hope you're inspired to use some vellum in your next project - it really is so much fun!!!

Up next is the super awesome Sherry - I love her work!!

Here's the list of everybody on the hop in case you get lost along the way!!

Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop - flowers!!

Hello and Welcome!!

Today I'm part of a fun blog hop with an amazing group of creative cardmakers from, all around the world!!  Make sure you keep hopping to see some truly wonderful projects featuring FLOWERS!!

I've gone for something fun and quick this time!!  I've made two cards using the Heart and Home Memories and More cards and envelopes (which are beautifully printed) and the coordinating Memories and More cards.  Have you ever tried using these for fun and quick cards?   They really are a great way to make cards!!  You will notice my cards have NO stamping!!  It's all there is the amazing supplies in the Heart & Home memories and more cards.

The Heart & Home cards and envelopes include cards that suit the 6 x 4 inch cards and also the 3 x 4 inch cards.  On my larger card I have added a Heart & Home doily and some Misty Moonlight cardstock to layer my centre image.  I've also added some Misty Moonlight ribbon from the On the Horizon suite, along with some fun pastel pearls.

The smaller card also uses die cut stickers for the front and I've added some Fresh Freesia ribbon and a couple of the Pastel Pearls again.

I do like to embellish the inside of all my cards, and I've used some of the Memories and More cards and a few die cut stickers for the insides of my cards too.

These cards are perfect for creating when you're travelling as you don't need many supplies - much the same as a kit!!  And look how pretty they are!!  Check out the Memories and More cards in your catalogue - they are just fabulous!!

Up next is the marvellous Krissi and her floral inspiration for you!!

Here's the list of everyone on the hop in case you get lost along the way!! Make sure you see all the amazingness - it's wonderful!!
