Hello and Welcome!!
This is a gorgeous blog hop celebration the glorious colours of Autumn....... which I just looooooove!!
This hop gave me the perfect opportunity to try a new fold introduced to me by one of my team members!! After my Retreat Day this weekend, I'll make a video creating this fold - so be sure to stay tuned to see how I made my cards!!
I've also managed to have a play with some brand new goodies coming next year - they arrived in my craft room just in time!! These cards feature the lovely Blessings of Home stamp set, Flowers of Home dies, and the lovely Heart & Home designer series paper. I bet you're super excited to see what else is coming next year now!!
I've used a combination of Cajun Craze ink and cardstock along with Cinnamon Cider cardstock and ink to create my Autumn tones. I've sponged onto Very Vanilla cardstock for extra colour on my stamping too. This card also has some flicks of Wink of Stella for extra glamour.
My second card features the lovely Merry Melody embossing folder instead of stamping for the 'book' part of the card. Again this was sponged and stamped with Cajun Craze and Cinnamon Cider inks.
My book marks were made using the Tailor Made Tag dies layered together tied with some Pale Papaya sheer ribbon and Gold shimmer ribbon. I frayed the gold shimmer ribbon so it became lots of gorgeous strands.
I hope you've been inspired to give Cajun Craze another look (I've heard people say they never use this colour!!) as I think it's a gloriously rich and luxurious Autumn colour!!
Up next on our richly coloured hop is the talented Sue. |
Here's the list of everyone in the hop in case you get lost along the way!!
