Stepping Up CTC#337

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues. 

This week, the challenge is to Step Up a Mini Catalogue Project which is a a few way to extend an idea!

I've stepped up this image from page 22 of our Mini Catalogue which features the Delivering Cheer stamp set.  I've used the layout in a similar way with the background paper; image on the left and the greeting overlapping the main greeting.

I also stepped up the fold a little and created a fun upright z fold for my card.  I've substituted the background patterned paper with some Pearlescent paper embossed with the Evergreen Forest embossing folder which I then sponged with some Soft Sea Foam ink and a blending brush. 

 The main image was die cut using the fun Christmas Trees dies also from Pearlescent paper.  Then I've used the gorgeous Be Dazzling sale-a-bration paper for the tinsel decoration and some Red Foil for the other decorations.  The star on top was punched using the Starlit punch and Gold Foil.  

Inside the card repeats the Soft Sea Foam blending and another cute little decorated tree in the corner.  

I've used Real Red for my stamping of the greeting which was fussy cut from the Happy Holly-Days stamp set - just love this font!!

GSF Stars are Shining Bundle

Hello and Welcome!!

Today I've been part of the great Global Share Fair group which is full of amazing creative people who make videos sharing great products and projects!!  My project features the great Stars are Shining Bundle!!

I've used it to create a lovely pillar fold card featuring some Silver embossed stars highlighted by sponging with Pacific Point and Night of Navy with a blending brush.  

My card also features window sheet pieces to enable the stars to hang on the front of the card for a cool 3D effect.

This cute card folds flat to fit into your standard envelope.

Super Pretty Colour INKspiration #108

Hello and Welcome!!

Tonight I'm joining in the challenge with these amazing colours!!  

The Colour INKspiration challenges are so much fun!!  This week, we have Daffodil Delight, Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia, Balmy Blue and Coastal Cabana to inspire you!!  And look at these amazing steps!!  

I've decided to go quite simple this time, and used the lovely Christmas Tree dies combined with the Merriest Moment stamp set for a totally different Christmas Card colour scheme.  

I sponged and stamped on the thick white base card using Coastal Cabana ink and a blending brush and the Merriest Moment stamp set.  I then added another layer which had been embossed with the little dots embossing folder.  The greetings also come from the Merriest Moments stamp set, and then I've die cut a bunch of the skinny small trees from the Christmas trees dies and added them to the front and also inside the card.

These colours are a long way from my comfort zone, but I think my card is so pretty!!!

This week, we are CASEING from our Sale-a-bration catalogue!!

I have been inspired by the gorgeous colouring, layering and watery colouring of the card featuring the Delicate Dahlias stamp set.

I was also incredibly inspired by Sandra's gorgeous project here featuring the same layout.  

This is a triple easel card.  I've CASED the lovely soft colouring of the flowers and fussy cut them out along with the leaves to create the same front of the card as the sale-a-bration sample, but then split the image to accommodate the triple easel.  My background comes from the gorgeous Bloom Where You're planted designer paper.

I've stamped in Saddle Brown stazon ink onto Shimmery white cardstock and then used a water painter with Shaded Spruce, Blushing Bride and So Saffron inks.  The main title of the card on the front was stamped with Cinnamon Cider and layered onto gold ribbon and embellished with a gold trim bow.

My finishing touch was some of the gorgeous brushed metallic dots arranged exactly the same as the sample card.
