Colour INKspiration #104

Hello and Welcome to another fabulous colour combination from Colour INKspirations!

This is a talented group providing challenges inspired by wonderful images.

And the colours are described using our Stampin' Up! library of awesome colours - this time they are:  Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black and Basic White.

I've used the colours to create a display item for my stall at CraftAlive this coming weekend.

This little card folds down flat but has it's own stand when you need it!!  I've used a new bundle from our upcoming Mini Catalogue - the Merriest Moments Bundle which comprises a lovely stamp set, Dies and a Hybrid Embossing Folder.

The super sweet Gingham paper comes from our Hostess pack of Pattern Party.  The other embellishment is the lovely Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, and some Rhinestone Jewels.

You can find the Facebook challenge page here.

Designer Series Paper spotlight for our hop this month

Hello and Welcome to another marvellous blog hop with this great group of talented designers!!

This month, the theme is to feature our awesome Designer Series Paper - which has been a recurring theme for all my blog posts this month!!

My card here features the cute Hand Penned paper - and the paper really is the star of the show - there is very little stamping or other embellishment.

The Night of Navy greeting comes from the coordinating stamp set Hand Penned Petals.  I've used one of the lovely frames in the Messages die along with some coordinating Pale Papaya ribbon and Genial Gems.

This card is a fun fold!!  The base card is the normal standard size and then there is a thinner card for the opening section.  I've used the gorgeous paper for the front and when you open the card, the paper features again on either side of the centre.

The scallop edge on the front of the card is one of the fun dies from the Penned Flowers dies which coordinate with this great stamp set and paper.

UP next is Joy with her gorgeous project   Make sure you keep hopping around everyone to see lots of wonderful inspiration!!

Here's a link to a video showing you how I created this card.

Here's the list of everyone in the hop in case you get lost along the way!!

Did you know this gorgeous paper is discounted this month?  It's 15% off which is sooo great.  Click here to see all the discounted papers - but only for this month!!

Paper strips inspiration CTC#327

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (CATTY).

And THIS week, we are celebrating our anniversary!!  Way to go everyone - this is a marvellous milestone!!

This week, we are CASEING from our Holiday Chapter of our Annual Catalogue - having a little Christmas in July inspiration!!  My inspiration comes from the cute stocking card on the bottom left because THIS month is all about our Designer Series Paper and this layout is just BRILLIANT for a celebration of paper!!

I have created 4 identical cards all featuring 4 different papers that are ALL on special this month!! Woohoo!!  My first card features the lovely Beauty of Friendship bundle and coordinating Beauty of the Earth paper.

All the cards have repeated the strips of paper on the inside of the card along with a little fussy cut extra detail.

My second card features the Pansy Petals paper along only.  I fussy cut an image from paper for the front detail.

The stamping on all the cards features a sweet 'Thankyou' from the Seascape stamp set, and the inside greeting comes from the Colour and Contour stamp set.

This card features the gorgeous Bloom Where You're Planted paper - and again, the detail images are fussy cute from the paper for the inside and front.

All of the cards have a small tag from the Tailor Made Tags dies to ground the image on the front and to emulate the Christmas Stocking from the inspiration photo.

This Hand-Penned paper card features some of the die cut flowers and leaves from the Penned Flowers dies.

This is a fabulous way to use scraps of paper left over from other projects.  It was super easy - I cut all of the strips to the same width I needed on the card and then added them - some are overlapped if I thought the strip was too wide for the pattern.

Which one is your favourite?  The colours were all so gorgeous and amazing I really can't decide, but I do have to say that I really love the Bloom Where You're Planted paper - I think it might be my absolute favourite!!

UP next is the talented Peta and her rich and luxurious wreathe card!!

You are invited to join the fun with us too!!  Add your photo to the lineup on our Facebook challenge page here.

Check out these papers AND all the others that are on special this month!!  You'll love them ALL!
