Hello and Welcome to a really fun Scrapbooking blog hop!!
This is a group of super talented designers who give me so much inspiration!!
This month the challenge is being presented by Courtenay Heuston and she's really given us a fun set of criteria for this page!!
I really enjoyed having these parameters for my page - but because I use so many photos I also found it a challenge!!
The embossing and die cutting was an easy double using the Bloom Hybrid folder and the coordinating Bloom dies!! I also heat embossed the words from Quiet Meadow and sponged with Balmy Blue for a bit of extra embossing.
I ended up using the lovely Colour and Contour for the stamping onto die cuts from the Meadow dies and the Tailored Made Tag dies. The alphabet stamp set that I've used is the Marking a Difference set which has numbers as well - sooo useful!!
The gems on my page are the gorgeous Opal Rounds and the ribbon is the crinkled seam binding which is so soft and gorgeous.
UP next is the awesome Stasia. |
You can see the list of everyone in the hop here in case you get lost along the way!
Love a bargain? There might be some here waiting just for you!! |
Oh Julie I love your page especially how you did your background - it really makes your page have great depth.
ReplyDeleteThe bloom hybrid folder looks so pretty on your layout. Lots of details. Great job.
ReplyDeleteWOWSERS Julia, this is a SUPERB layout using all 5 elements of the challenge <3
ReplyDeleteI especially LOVE the vellum diecuts <3 Love the subtle embossing on the layout too. Cheers Shaz
Such a pretty page! I love your embossing using the vellum, so subtle but effective and the tags (I must get those) and the words you embossed and sponged with Balmy Blue are lovely. You certainly did well with the challenge and all those photos!
