Goodbye to the Mini Catalogue CTC#324

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! Catalogues (CATTY).

This week, we are CASEING a project from our Retiring Mini Catalogue - only 3 more days of this little gem and a bunch of gorgeous goodies!!

I decided to use the challenge this week to have fun with the Flowering Cactus kit and I was mostly inspired by the gorgeous 'sunset'  cad in the centre at the top.

I have cut out a bunch of the cacti from the lovely printed papers, and then created by garden in a z-fold card.  I've used the sand paper from the Sand & Sea too.  My base card is Crumb Cake, and I used the blending brushes with Bumblebee and Calypso Coral inks for the background sunset.

I've used the same elements for the back of the card on the writing panel.

I just loooooove the gorgeous felt elements from the lovely Flowering Cactus kit!!  The Calypso Coral twine under the greeting also comes from this lovely kit.  I've stamped the greeting on the front from Turtle Friends, and the greeting on the writing panel from Peaceful Moments stamp sets.

UP next is the fabulous Tina and her project from the Retiring Mini Catalogue.

You are invited to share your fun project from our Retiring Catalogue too - click here to see our Facebook page.

The Cactus Medley is one of our Last Chance products - you have 3 days to make the most of this sale!

Yummy Strawberries CTC#323

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY!!

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! Catalogues (CATTY).

This week, we are CASEING foodie projects!!!

My inspiration has come from page 43 of the Annual Catalogue featuring the Sweet Strawberry stamp set.

The title for my exploding box card is a direct CASE of the title on the checked card.

The check detail was also the inspiration for the detail at the base of the card featuring the Checks embossing folder which I sponged using Pear Pizzazz and a blending brush.

My strawberries are stamping using Poppy Parade and punched with the coordinating Strawberry builder punch.

The back of my card features a writing panel which is an exact CASE of the other card on page 43.

Up next is the awesome food inspired creation from Michelle.

We love it when you join the fun with us on our Facebook challenge page - just add your photo here to be part of the amazing lineup!!

Have you checked out what's retiring?  You ONLY have another week and a half to snag those retiring goodies!!  Better click and order quickly!!

Scrapbooking Grab 5 hop

Hello and Welcome to a really fun Scrapbooking blog hop!!

This is a group of super talented designers who give me so much inspiration!!

This month the challenge is being presented by Courtenay Heuston and she's really given us a fun set of criteria for this page!!

I really enjoyed having these parameters for my page - but because I use so many photos I also found it a challenge!!

The embossing and die cutting was an easy double using the Bloom Hybrid folder and the coordinating Bloom dies!!  I also heat embossed the words from Quiet Meadow and sponged with Balmy Blue for a bit of extra embossing.

I ended up using the lovely Colour and Contour for the stamping onto die cuts from the Meadow dies and the Tailored Made Tag dies.  The alphabet stamp set that I've used is the Marking a Difference set which has numbers as well - sooo useful!!

The gems on my page are the gorgeous Opal Rounds and the ribbon is the crinkled seam binding which is so soft and gorgeous.

UP next is the awesome Stasia.

You can see the list of everyone in the hop here in case you get lost along the way!

Love a bargain?  There might be some here waiting just for you!!
