It's time for a fun technique CTC#319

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This week, we are CASEING a technique - embossing!!  How fun is that - I think the team will have lots of amazingness to share with you!!

I've found this gorgeous card featuring the wonderful Seascape bundle and the Diorama Dies on page 12 of the catalogue which features some great white heat embossing.

I've also added some dry embossing using the Bark 3D embossing folder for the outside of the Diorama card.  This card folds flat to fit in a standard envelope but will stand up in a box to show off the super cute stamp set.  The inside of the card features white embossing for the coral, and some little clear embossed fish swimming in the background.

I've used Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party cardstock with Pacific Point for the coral, and Mango Melody for the small fish, and the stamped fish is Calypso Coral.

The back of the box has a stamped panel for writing your greeting!!

What fun to be able to include both types of embossing on my project!!

Up next is the gorgeous Rebecca and her lovely project!!

We'd love you to join the fun with us too over on our Facebook challenge.  Click here to see the wonderful projects shared by everyone.

  1. You're too clever Julia, getting both embossing techniques on your project. Very cute CASE.

  2. This looks great! Not only do you have the heat embossing on the back layer, but the bark embossing folder works so well as water on the front layer. I might have to use that myself for water now.
