All Occasions CTC#320

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! catalogues (CATTY).

THis week, we are CASEING from the All Occasions Chapter of our New Catalogue.

I'm still at the gorgeous Seascape Bundle on page 12 of the Occasions chapter (last week, I CASED the other project featuring this bundle here)

My cards are very similar but very different!!  I've cased the layouts and the sponging on the die cuts for extra depth of colour but my cards have a white base and layering.

I've added some texture to my seaweed, by embossing my stamped panel with the Bark embossing folder - love the watery effect from this folder!!  My greeting has been stamped onto a label punched using the Label Me Lovely Punch. I just looooove the addition of the gorgeous Opal rounds for bubbly texture!

Inside my card features more of the gorgeous images from the Seascape stamp set using Coastal Cabana and Mango Melody.

My second card also features the Seascape stamp set and the gorgeous gold fish die cut from the Sea Life dies.

Inside the card continues the theme from the front!

I'm a huge fishy fan!!  So I love this gorgeous bundle - these Sea Life dies can be partially die cut as well to create fun 3D looks - but I've cut them entirely out for these cards.

UP next is the amazing and talented Rebecca!!

You are always invited to join in the fun with us too over on our Facebook challenge page!  You don't need a blog - just add your photo to the page!!

Looking at the Subtles family

Hello and Welcome to the amazing Blog Hop prepared by the equally amazing Kelly Kent as a way of keeping us all connected in cardmaking love!!

If you want to see everyone on the blog hop, you can head to the post above to see the list.

The theme this month is the Subtles Colour family from our amazing Stampin' Up! offering.

The colours I've used in my project are:  Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam. Mint Macaron and some Pool Party ribbon.

This is the first card I've made with my new stamp set - Colour and Contour.

I created my own patterned paper by stamping the flowers with Calypso Coral Ink and the leaves with Pear Pizzazz.  I then coloured them using Stampin' Blends in Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Soft Sea Foam and a touch of Mint Macaron on the leaves.

The inside continues the theme of the flowers.  There's also some extra stamping with the ink splotch stamp in So Saffron.

I've used the Label Me Fancy and the Rectangle Postage Punches for the title, with a little bit of Pool Party sheer ribbon behind it.  This is quite a simple card, but pretty too!!

Up next is the fabulous and amazing Lou.
Make sure you keep hopping all the way around to see all the amazingness.

It's a celebration #100

Hello and Welcome to the 100th challenge for Colour INKspiration!!  Woohoo!!!

Colour INkspiration was founded by Bronwyn Eastley in 2017.
She put together a crew of 25.  We still have 8 original members on the Colour INkspiration Crew.
Our First challenge CI#01 was on the 11th January 2017.

This challenge is inspired by some amazing images from Pinterest and the colours defined by our amazing Stampin' Up! collection.

To celebrate our 100th challenge - the colours are bold and dynamic!  They are Gorgeous Grape, Magenta Madness, and Bermuda Bay.

My card featuring these colours is a Diorama card featuring the Layering Diorama dies and the Artistically Inked bundle.  You can see the Bermuda Bay is the feature colour (Pink and Purple are not in my comfort zone!!  But I do love how my card turned out!!)

I've embossed the front of my card using the Brick and Mortar embossing folder - which is also featured onto the greeting panel inside the card.

I've used the Magenta Madness of the largest flowers; the Gorgeous Grape for the teeny flowers, and Bermuda Bay for the leaves, as well as the card base.  There is also a little of the specialty metallic gold paper with the large leaf swag behind the flowers.

The beauty of this card is that it folds neatly into a standard envelope.  It is created using 1/2 of a full piece of cardstock and then scored along the long side into a box shape - my measurements are:  score at 11, 14, 25, 28 cm.  You're then left with a little tab to adhere the box together.

I hope you'll join in with us for this amazing milestone!!

It's time for a fun technique CTC#319

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This week, we are CASEING a technique - embossing!!  How fun is that - I think the team will have lots of amazingness to share with you!!

I've found this gorgeous card featuring the wonderful Seascape bundle and the Diorama Dies on page 12 of the catalogue which features some great white heat embossing.

I've also added some dry embossing using the Bark 3D embossing folder for the outside of the Diorama card.  This card folds flat to fit in a standard envelope but will stand up in a box to show off the super cute stamp set.  The inside of the card features white embossing for the coral, and some little clear embossed fish swimming in the background.

I've used Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party cardstock with Pacific Point for the coral, and Mango Melody for the small fish, and the stamped fish is Calypso Coral.

The back of the box has a stamped panel for writing your greeting!!

What fun to be able to include both types of embossing on my project!!

Up next is the gorgeous Rebecca and her lovely project!!

We'd love you to join the fun with us too over on our Facebook challenge.  Click here to see the wonderful projects shared by everyone.
