CTC#312 Sharing the Retiring Love

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazingly inspirational Stampin' Up! Catalogues (catty).

This week, we are featuring our Favourite Retiring Dies from our current Annual Catalogues!

I've used this great inspirational challenge to help me create a bunch of small gifts for my family for Easter by featuring the ever useful Mini Curvy Keepsake Dies (which is now sold out!!)

My little gift boxes were created by laminating 2 sheets of the gorgeous papers from the Flowering Cactus Product Medley laminated together and then each die cut with the Mini Curvy Keepsake dies.

The tags also feature another of the Mini Curvy Keepsakes dies as well as a greeting from another awesome retiring die - Well Written - which is full of some great words!!(also sold out).  The final touch on my little tags is one of the felt flowers from the great Flowering Cactus Product Medley.

UP next with another great project featuring a retiring die is the awesome Sandra.

We'd love you to join in the fun with us and show us your projects featuring your favourite retiring dies!!

  1. I'm not surprised these dies sold out, what a great treat holder, Julia. I wasn't sure why you laminated the paper though, can you explain?

    1. HI Rachel, the laminate creates a slightly stronger box which is more durable and makes it lovely and shiny too!!
