Mood board inspiration Scrapbooking Global

Hello and Welcome to the March Scrapbooking blog hop!!

Scrapbooking Global is an amazing group of creative artists who use exclusively Stampin' Up! products for scrapbooking.

This month, the theme for the hop is this glorious mood board based on the Hydrangea Haven Suite in our Mini Catalogue,

and designed by the supremely talented Sharon Dalton.

My page took on an interesting journey!!  The picture in the mood board of the gorgeous sky was my first inspiration and it helped me choose my photos...... and then I couldn't work out how to incorporate more of the colour inspiration.... until I decided to add strips of papers and embossed cardstock down my page - and I loved the look of this!!  I've used some of the Hydrangea Hill papers, Sand and Sea paper and some Rococo Rose and Misty Moonlight cardstock embossed with the Old World Paper embossing folder.

I was then inspired by the little white spiky flower at the bottom of the mood board - so went looking to see how I could incorporate this element.  I eventually decided on the Potted Succulents dies to create the look.  What do you think?

The gorgeous greeting comes from the coordinating Simply Succulents stamp set and was stamped onto one of the great dies from the Simply Succulents coordinating dies.  There is also a little background stamping with the Simply Succulents stamp and Seaside Spray ink.

My final touch was a heap of the gorgeous Pastel Pearls from the Hydrangea Suite.  I've also added a little Seaside Spray ribbon behind the bottom photo and tied a Misty Moonlight ribbon bow around the other photo.

Up next on this wonderful hop is the talented Marga.

Here's the list of everyone, just in case you get lost along the way!
