Last Sale-a-bration!! CTC#307

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY!!

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! Catalogues (CATTY).

This week we are CASEING from our Sale-a-bration Catalogue for the last time - Sale-a-bration ends TODAY!!

All images Stampin' Up! © January February 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalogue page 15

I have again CASED the gorgeous Berry Blessings suite on pages15 of the catalogue - specifically the card right in the middle - which is a very basic layout.

I've changed it up to a super cool shaker card.  You make the shaker by placing the Berry Blessings patterned paper into one of our clear envelopes, add shaker elements of sequins and the ice cream sprinkles, seal and attach to the card front.  Easy!!  Fun too!

I've added my greeting from Sweet Strawberry, punched using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch, and then added a stamped and punched strawberry from the gorgeous Sweet Strawberry bundle.

Inside, the card continues the gorgeous greeting from Sweet Strawberry, and also a couple of more strawberries.  I did the two step stamping onto the cardstock, and then added the punched calyx using the Strawberry punch.

I've had a real love affair with this delicious Berry Delicious paper because of it's fun happy images!!  This is one of our Sale-a-bration rewards for a qualifying order!!

UP next on our hop this week is the gorgeous and talented Rebecca.

Some BRIGHT social stamping

Hello and Welcome to our first Social Stamping blog hop for 2021!!  Thankyou Kelly Kent for enabling us to stay connected through our love of stamping!!

If you get lost along the way, click on the image above to head to the host to see the list of everyone on the hop - otherwise keep hopping all the way around in a circle to see LOTS of amazingness !  There are some pretty awesome people in the lineup this month!!

The theme for our hop this month is the Brights Stampin' Up! colour family.

Now I have a secret to share - the Brights are always a challenge for me.  I'm not comfortable with them and always get wrapped in angst about how to put them together!!  So, my journey to this card took several twists and turns.  I knew I wanted to use my new butterflies, because, well, they're new!!  So first I stamped them and coloured with Stampin' Blends in the Brights - but I did an awful job of that!! Then, I die cut all the butterflies in each of the Brights cardstock and that looked crazy too!!

So, this is my final attempt at the combination of butterflies and Brights!!  I coloured the large butterfly stamp using the Brights Stampin' Write Markers, spritzed using my Stampin' Mist stamp cleaner, and then stamped onto Shimmery White card stock..... and finally I had a look I loved!!

The greetings from my card come from the Friends are like Seashells stamp set stamped using Poppy Parade.  I punched it out using the ever useful Timeless Label punch.    I've also stamped another butterfly from Butterfly Wishes, used markers, spritzed and punched it out with the Butterfly Punch.  The beautiful ribbon on the front comes from the lovely Flowers for Every Season ribbon pack.

You can see all my discarded butterfly attempts in front of my card here - now to try and resurrect them onto another project - I really don't like any waste!!   If I'm lucky, I might be inspired by one of the projects on our hop today - there's ALWAYS so many stunning ideas shared by this amazing group!!

Up next is the truly talented Lou who is ALWAYS inspirational!!

Colour INKspirations #94

Hello and Welcome to the Colour INKspiration challenge!

Our Challenge is about using our Stampin' Up! colours for some gorgeous images sourced from Pinterest.

I've used the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set for my project this time!  (hmm, now that I think about it, I think I've used this stamp set for one of our Colour INKspiration projects this year already..... I think I like this stamp set!!)

The paper for the front of the card comes from the Sand and Sea Suite.

One of the reasons I love this stamp set is the great coordinating Ice cream Builder punch (and you can actually buy the stamp set and punch together in a bundle to get a 10% discount!! WIN!)

I also love the two step stamping for the cone image - I've stamped the triangle using the Crumb Cake ink and the image has a gorgeous watery texture to it.  I've then stamped over the top with the crosshatching again in Crumb Cake ink and I think it looks super dooper!!

I've added a knot of the lovely soft Misty Moonlight ribbon for some extra interest on the card and to pick up the Misty Moonlight greeting.

The inside of the card also features the 'triangle cone' stamp but this time, I've created a banner using the lovely Mango Melody and Seaside Spray inks.    The greetings in this stamp set are so much fun!!

Bring the Bling - what a great title!! CTC#306

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night challenge and blog hop CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This week, we are celebrating Bling!!  What a brilliant idea for a CASE!!  The challenge is to CASE a glitter or sparkly project.

I've been inspired by the gorgeous layout on our header for this challenge featuring the stunning Fine Art Floral Suite.  The beautiful Fine Art Floral designer paper features marvellous hand painted images with glorious brush strokes and pretty pretty colours.  It ALSO has some coordinating Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate which has a sheet that fits perfectly over one of the designs.  This adds a perfect Bling for our challenge!!

Taking my first step from the "just thinking of you" card in the very centre of page 32 of the Mini Catalogue, I've removed the film from the back of the Acetate (the silver side) and then adhered it over the whole sheet of the coordinating Fine Art Floral paper.  I then cut it up to fit onto 6 standard size cards.  The front panels of the combined paper and acetate are 4" x 5" which leaves a strip of the paper to put on the inside of the card.

To embellish my cards (not they needed much because this paper and acetate is GORGEOUS) I've  featured one of the stamped images from the Art Gallery stamp set using Flirty Flamingo Ink for the base layer and then Poppy Parade Ink for the top two step image.  Then I've used the Floral Art dies to cut out the flowers, and two labels from the same set - one for the greeting, and one for a strip of gold foil.  You can actually purchase this stamp set and coordinating dies in a bundle and receive a 10% discount!!

I've also added some extra bling with the lovely Fine Art ribbon and some Metallic pearls scattered over the front of the card.  All of these cards are actually really simple, with the paper and acetate doing all the hard work AND looking wonderful!!

Up next is the talented Michelle and her sweet kangaroo!!

We would love you to join in the challenge with us too!!  Find your favourite sparkles in the catalogue, CASE it, photograph it, and add it to our Facebook challenge page.  Easy peasy!

Do you know you could purchase this glorious Fine Art Floral Suite and earn a FREE sale-a-bration reward - BUT only for 1 MORE WEEK.  Sale-a-bration ENDS NEXT SUNDAY 28th February!

There is also ONLY one more week also to enjoy a BRILLIANT joining opportunity to be part of my team!  Read all about it here!! (and if you join this week, you will receive $100 of gorgeous papers AS WELL AS the usual benefits!!  Ask me more!)
