Hello to the New Mini Catalogue!! CTC#300

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy and Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! catalogues which are so full of creative inspiration.

For our 300th challenge we are CASEING from the NEW Mini Catalogue which is soooooo gorgeous!

I've decided to CASE from the front cover!  There is inspiration on every page, but I really love the layout and the gorgeous Art Gallery bundle featured on the front.

My card is a little different as I've used the reverse of one of the pieces of the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper with it's gorgeous painted texture.  I've stamped the smaller flower from the Art Gallery stamp set using Shaded Spruce and then with Pool Party and Pretty Peacock highlights.  I fussy cut the little flowers and stuck them over the top of the full flower bouquet which was die cut using the Floral Gallery Dies.  To create the frame I've used the super cute Stitched With Whimsy dies!  Love these.

Inside my card features another bunch of flowers layered onto the Pool Party and Shaded Spruce cardstock.

After I'd finished the Fine Art Floral card, I was then inspired to use the stunning Dandy Garden Cards and Envelopes using the same layout.

This time, I've used vellum in the background and stamped my greeting from Garden Wishes using Mossy Meadow Ink which coordinates with the lovely Braided Linen Trim.  I added a little extra colour using a Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend.  To create the frame I used the Stitched with Whimsy dies as well as the Rectangle stitched dies.

And the inside of the Bumblebee frame that was die cut, became the feature for the inside of my card!!

So, my cards are really quite similar, but I think the two different bundles of the Dandy Garden Suite and the Fine Art Floral Suite really gave them such a different look!!!  What do you think?

UP next on our fun hop this week is the extraordinary Michelle and her Super cute and fun Snail  project!!

You are always invited to join in the challenge with us every week too!  It's easy to add your project to the line-up on our Facebook Challenge page, and you don't need to have a blog to do it!!  We'd love to see your creative projects!!

  1. You got even less far into the catalogue than I did Julia! I love how you have made the frames and showed how the new stitched whimsey dies coordinate with the stitched rectangle dies.
