A sketch challenge for CTC#292 from the Annual Catalogue

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night blog hop and challenge Caseing the Catty.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or to Copy And Share Everything, and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! catalogues which are full of inspiration.

The challenge this week is to CASE the sketch on page 159 of our Annual Catalogue.

I've used this great layout to create a pretty birthday card featuring the gorgeous Fancy Phrases stamp set coloured with Stampin' Blends.

The background of the card was embossed with the Tin Tile folder using Shaded Spruce cardstock.

I've stamped the bunch of flowers twice on my central panel and coloured using Shaded Spruce, Mango Melody and Petal Pink light and dark Stampin' Blends.

I've wrapped the gorgeous Petal Pink ribbon around the image and then stamped a greeting a punched using the awesome Label me Fancy punch as the finishing touch.

UP next is the amazing Monique and her stunning project!!

Please head over to my online store if you wish to see these products in more detail - and you can place your order anytime (if you're in Australia) while you're there (even if you're in your pyjamas!!)

  1. Lovely card, Julia. The pretty floral image works really well with the Tin Tile EF.

  2. I love how you’ve kept it very close to the original card but it feels and looks so different with the use of the embossing folder, colours, stamp set and ribbon you chose.
