To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything, or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! catalogues which are totally FULL of inspiration for you.
This week, we are CASEING our favourite retiring bundle - and I'm sharing my project made with the Lovely is the Day Bundle from page 115 of the Annual Catalogue.
The bundle features the super sweet Lovely is the Day stamp set and the Lovely Leaves dies. I've taken some inspiration from the card on the left of the image above with the leaves making a cluster under the sentiment. But as my card was evolving it really took on it's own life!! I've also been inspired by Michelle last week with her reverse easel card.
The background of the image features the gloss textured Mosaic Mood specialty paper which worked well with my colours of Garden Green and Soft Sea Foam.
I've anchored the whole image using the Bokeh Dots stamp which I stamped using the Stamparatus giving it many layers of colour to add extra depth for the subtle Soft Sea Foam.
When I first saw this bundle, I just love this particular fern leaf die - it works so well with so many images!!
Up next on our hop this week is the amazing Peta and her favourite retiring bundle for this week.

Great cards. The DSP works well with this bundle. Weren’t the reverse easel easy to do?!?
ReplyDeleteI love how you've cased a designer for your cards. These must look amazing in real life with the softness of the bokeh against the shine of the mosaic DSP. Lovely embellishing and colour to finish - gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Julia, I love all the green, it’s my favourite colour. The bokeh and the ferns really look great together.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, Julia. Love the composition and all details.
