The colours this time are awesome! And I love this photo of the boots! I'm hoping someone creates a card using the cute boots from the Under My Umbrella stamp set!! As I don't have this set, I've gone for a vintage shabby chic look - these colours just give that vibe to me!!
I've used a new stamp set from the upcoming catalogue - Tasteful Touches - and it is a REALLY popular stamp set from the Catalogue Pre-order from many Stampin' Up! demonstrators. One of our perks is to be able to order NEW goodies the month before they go live to customers!! Woohoo!!
I've stamped the flowers using the Blushing Bride, and then coloured them in with the Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Marker. THEN, I stamped the flowers again using Early Espresso onto vellum, and cut them out and mounted over the top of the coloured flowers for a very subtle look. What do you think??
I've masked the flowers and stamped the fernery and background image using Gray Granite. And then I went all out with the texture theme and used Shimmery embossing past tinted with Blushing Bride and the Decorative Pattern Masks to create extra background detail!! At first, I wasn't too thrilled with all the crazy busy, but it's growing on me!!
The inside of the card is almost the same as the front - except for the extra texture from the embossing paste! I hope you've enjoyed my fun texture exploration, and that you're inspired to have a go with our challenge too. Use these colours, and then add them to our Facebook challenge page here.
Please head over to my online store if you wish to see these products in more detail - and you can place your order anytime (if you're in Australia) while you're there (even if you're in your pyjamas!!)
And, if you can see yourself creating cards and sharing your love of papercrafts while inspiring others, perhaps you might be interested in the Stampin' Up! Business opportunity - contact me to find out how.
