October Sketch for Scrapbooking Global

Hello and Welcome to another fun Scrapbook page for the fabulous challenges of Scrapbooking Global - a group of super supportive people who create pages using Stampin' Up! products.

No photo description available.

This was the challenge for October - pretty simple and so versatile!!

I've used Pretty Peacock as my main colour and Sahara Sand as the background page.  The panels comes from the Come to Gather DSP, and 2 panels of Pretty Peacock embossed with the Pinewood Planks folder, and the Brick and Mortar Embossing folder.  My final panel was created by using all the birthday greetings from the Piece of Cake Stamp set.

I've used a trio of cakes in place of the three flags at the bottom of the photo.  These were coloured using Stampin' Blends and then punched with the fun cake builder punch.

My super cool idea for this page was to use the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint for the icing - I think it looks so fun!  The chocolate layered cake has some Shimmery Crystal effects on the layers to give it some extra pizzazz too.

I think all these cakes look good enough to eat!! Yum.  Sometimes it's tricky to choose images for a guy scrap page, but you are always going to win with some cake!!

I hope you're inspired to have a go scrapbooking too - this is a perfect challenge to help you get started!!
