Did you know it was World Cardmaking Day yesterday on 5th October 2019??
What a brilliant way to celebrate a love of papercraft and sharing that love with others. We created a bunch of cards to donate to our local hospital and had a fabulous time!!
Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.
What a brilliant way to celebrate a love of papercraft and sharing that love with others. We created a bunch of cards to donate to our local hospital and had a fabulous time!!
We ended up making 55 cards to donate - everyone made a card to keep and a card to donate so there was lots of amazing creative fun in the room!!
I feel so honoured to part of a creative enterprise that gives to others in so many ways. Isn't it always a thrill to receive a handmade card - either in the post or in person?? It's a hug made from paper!!
Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.
To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy and Selectively Edit. Our challenge is about CASEING from our Stampin' Up! catalogues which are chock full of amazing inspiration.
This week, we are CASEING from the Toile Tidings chapter of the Holiday Catalogue - pages 6-11.
I have CASED this pair of simple and cute tags on the left of the photo on page 9.
My tags are somewhat longer!! I've added one greeting from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set. They are created using the fun Toile Tidings DSP and coordinating Ink and Cardstock in Real Red and Garden Green. The ribbon at the top has been tied with some bakers twine and a little bell.
I'm making a whole bunch of these for the name tags on our project kit bags for our Cardmaking Retreat Day coming up. So I'll be adding another strip of colour with names on every tag. I love the little Christmas bell tied at the top of the tag - we'll have a very festive sounding Retreat Day with everyone jingling their little bags everytime they get out their project kits!! Teehee.
Up next for some more wonderful inspiration is Michelle and her gorgeous starry card!!
We would just love for you to join in the fun with us too. Check out the Holiday Catalogue and that first chapter and see how you can be inspired!! Then add your photo to the lineup on our facebook challenge page!!
Please head over to my online store if you wish to see these products in more detail - and you can place your order anytime (if you're in Australia) while you're there (even if you're in your pyjamas!!)
And, if you can see yourself creating cards and sharing your love of papercrafts while inspiring others, perhaps you might be interested in the Stampin' Up! Business opportunity - contact me to find out how.
