Hello and Welcome to our Colour Challenge! What do you think of these impressive colours?? Were you inspired by the amazing Jacque? Keep hopping all the way through and you'll see lots of amazing projects!!
Our Challenge Colours are inspired by amazing images found on pinterest, and then converted into Stampin' Up! colours.
This time the colours are: Merry Merlot, Blackberry Bliss, Gray Granite, Basic Black.
Hopefully you can see I've taken lots of inspiration from the image as well as the colours!
I've used Black Stazon with the Flourishing Phrases stamp set, and then watercoloured crazily in the background with the Merry Merlot, Blackberry Bliss and a touch of Gray Granite. I had a punched circle in the centre for the moon, but the watercolouring bled a little, so I've extended the wash over the edges to create a very soft looking moon shape in the background!! I also stamped the water from the High Tide stamp set.
Over the top of the flowers, I've added some shimmery Crystal Effects for a bit of fun and texture. The embellishments are the Epoxy drops and some Blackberry Bliss twine wrapped around the whole art panel. After LOTS of angst and worry, I decided that I LOVED the card without any greeting!! (Because it was way too hard to work out where to put one!!!).
Up next on this deep colour hop is the lovely LeAnne our guest designer. She has created a stunning card to inspire you!!
We'd love you to join in the fun with us too. Simply use these colours in a project and add it to the lineup on our facebook challenge page.

What a beautiful background, I had to look again - initially I thought you had stamped directly onto printed DSP. Super clever. Your choice of stamps is perfect
ReplyDeleteI think your soft-focus moon is perfect. It lets the flower shine against the moody background. Super floral spray too. Sentiments are over-rated. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the addition of the enamel dots! Just stunning, xx
