Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge where we CASE the CATTY.
To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or to Copy And Share Everything. And we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.
This week, we are CASEING the Feels Like Frost DSP and layouts on page 40 of our Holiday Catalogue.
I've been inspired by the gorgeous Pretty Peacock card on the bottom left of page 40. I've CASED the layout from the card onto the middle of a Z-fold card.
I'm just sooo in love with the So Many Stars Bundle - my card features quite a few of the detailed die cuts from the Stitched Stars Dies.
Instead of sponging the DSP as per the original card, I added some shimmery embossing paste using the gorgeous Basic Pattern Decorative Masks featured in our Holiday Catalogue. I then sponged over the top of the embossed shapes using some Pretty Peacock ink trying to create a similar effect as the original card (P.S. sponging is not my best skill!!!) I've used my favourite starry swag under the greeting instead of a strip of DSP.
Due to the top of my Z fold being a piece of scored window sheet, it wasn't very keen to fold up completely for the photo shoot!! But, it does fold for posting, and it also looks amazing for a mantelpiece feature for Christmas!!
AGAIN, we have some stunning projects to share with you for this challenge!! Make sure you keep hopping all the way around to enjoy all the projects!! Up next is the lovely Siobhan and her stunning heart card.
We'd love you to join in the fun with us too and add your project to the lineup on our facebook challenge page here.
Gorgeous Julia, you have really shown off how lovely the stars are- and on the acetate looks great.
