Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.
To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and our challenge is about CASEING from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.
This week we are CASEING a Card and creating a 3D project from that inspiration!! What a fun challenge we have for you this week!!
I have been inspired by the little card on the very bottom right of the landing page for the Noble Peacock Suite. I've use the same colours and textures and a little bit from the layout of the central image!!
My 3D project is a Card in a Box or Exploding Card! I've used the fabulous Noble Peacock Specialty DSP AND the foil for a full and lush colour extravaganza!!
The stamping for the greeting on the front flap derives its colours and inspiration from the central greeting panel from the original Stampin' Up! sample. I've coloured the little confetti elements using Rich Razzleberry blends and done the main stamping using Old Olive as per the inspiration.
I love the way these super fun cards fold flat for postage - and then the recipient opens them up for a total celebration! I've used the fun Delightfully Day stamp set for this project.
The little panel of DSP on the front of the card was inspired by the project in the catalogue!!
Up next for another amazing 3D creation is the lovely Sandra and her Pressed Petals beauty!!
So, are you inspired to look at the catalogue in new ways now too? Add your 3D project inspiration to our lineup on our facebook challenge page here!!
Please head over to my online store if you wish to see these products in more detail - and you can place your order anytime (if you're in Australia) while you're there (even if you're in your pyjamas!!)
And, if you can see yourself creating cards and sharing your love of papercrafts while inspiring others, perhaps you might be interested in the Stampin' Up! Business opportunity - contact me to find out how.

You can’t go past a card in a box! I’m sure it looks even better in real life with the foil balloons. What a great surprise for someone’s birthday when they open it up.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous suprise when you open the card! Especially with all that foil, this really is a special card for someone.
