Scrapping challenge

Hello and Welcome to a fun challenge with Scrapbooking Global.

Image may contain: text

And the challenge is to use this page map.....

I've used a Cherry Cobbler background, and my background strips comprise some ribbon and plain cardstock.

I've used Bloom and Grow for my feature stamp set and coloured the flowers using Stampin' Blends.

I love the little detail at the bottom with the date.

The spray of flowers was stamped using 1st and 2nd generation stamping to give subtle tone differences to the Memento Black ink.

And what a great stamped title from the Bloom and Grow stamp set!!

I hope you have been inspired too!!

Change the theme on the layout CTC#239

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the Catty.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit  or to Copy And Share Everything, and we love to CASE from the amazing array of choice in our Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This week, we have a specific CASE - to Case a Layout and change the theme from one of the projects on page 103.  I have CASED the duckie card!!

I've used Bloom and Grow for my stamped image, and coloured using Stampin' Blends and then  I heat embossed the greeting in white, the same as the original.

I love this Noble Peacock Specialty DSP - and I think it really lifts the whole card!!

My final touch is some of the darling Noble Peacock Rhinestones - so pretty and sparkly!!

Make sure you keep hopping around the whole team to get a bunch of inspiration from page 103 of our catalogue.  Up next is the lovely Michelle and her project!!

We hope you'll join in the fun with us too and add your project CASED from page 103 of our catalogue!  It's easy to add your photo to the lineup on our facebook challenge page.

Exotic Colours Colour INKspiration #60

Hello and Welcome to a brilliant blog hop featuring some very exotic colours!!

Our Challenge is Colour INKspiration - and we are inspired by the colours in some pretty stunning images on Pinterest, which are then converted to the amazing offerings in the Stampin' Up! range.
No photo description available.

Our colours this time are: Petal Pink, Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock and Blueberry Bushel.  We have 2 new Incolours in the lineup this time!!

I've used these colours for one of my projects I'm featuring in my Bloom and Grow class!  I absolutely LOOOOOOOVE the Noble Peacock foil sheets and every colour looks stunning when it's been embossed.  I think my favourite embossing folder to use with the foil is this Tufted folder - doesn't it look Ah-mazing!!

The inside of the card has an extra strip of the embossed foil too.

I've coloured the flowers using our markers and stamped the images in Black Stazon Ink.

Up next is the lovely Jackie and her wonderful card!!

So how about joining the fun with us too?  Create your project with just these 4 colours (and basics) and add a photo to our lineup on the facebook challenge page - super easy and so much fun!!

PS. have you checked out the marvellous promotions for you at Stampin' Up! this month?
You will love them both!!!

Garden Lane Inspiration CTC#238

Hello and Welcome to our fun Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or to Copy And Share Everything, and we love to CASE our Stampin' Up! catalogues which are FULL of amazing inspiration.

Image may contain: text

This week, we are CASEING a Colour Scheme from the Garden Lane DSP - the colours are:
Garden Green, Mint Macaron, Mossy meadow, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sea Foam and Whisper White.  Amazingly, these are not ALL the greens in the Stampin' Up! family!!

The gorgeous Garden Lane DSP is featured beautifully on pages 40 and 41 of our catalogue, and I have been somewhat inspired by the layout of the card on the far right of these projects.

I tried a few different variations of the same layout and swapped up the colours of stamping and cardstock.  I have used every colour from the DSP on these projects.  My stamp set was Very Versailles which is a remarkably easy stamp set to use and create lovely collage images.

For the central rectangle I've used the gorgeous Heirloom Frames embossing folder and cut around the outside edge.  This card above has a little extra ink swiped over the folder before embossing to highlight the lovely design on the frame.

The inside of both cards is very simple - using the leaf as a frame.  The distinktive stamp image makes it look just glorious.

Up next for some Garden Lane inspiration is Rebecca and a stunning card featuring vellum .  Make sure you keep hopping around the whole team to see the inspirational projects from everyone!!

I hope you've been inspired by our very 'green' blog hop tonight, and that you'll look again at the colours of this DSP and join in the fun with us!!
