Hello and Welcome to our fun Blog Hop and challenge exploring colour!!
Our team finds inspiration via some gorgeous Pinterest images and adds our stunning Stampin' Up! colours for the challenge.
This week, we have this awesome floral inspiration featuring
Lovely Lipstick, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green.
As I left my planning for this blog hop to the very last minute, I needed something quick and easy for my project - and this stamp set Butterfly Wishes features such gorgeous images that all I've really done is some stamping with our great colours.
I ended up with a bunch of cards in my explorations and creation!! Because I couldn't really decide which one was the best? nicest? most effective?, I just decided to add them all and let YOU decide!!
Sponging with the Daffodil Delight around the edges was my first idea, but the card at the top got an OVERLOAD of ink, so that's why there's lots more stamping of the branch and flowers as I tried to cover up the mess!!!
This is what I had originally thought would be nice, but, I do love the clean look toooooo......
(and I still need to practice my smooth sponging.......)
These next few cards are clean and crisp with basic stamping and just changing up the background card and mat for the central panel.
All of the cards feature the extra wing which I fussy cut and popped up with a dimensional to give the top butterfly extra detail.
So, what did you think? I LOOOOOVE this Distinktive stamp set and the images all have stunning variations in tone and detail which makes stamping so easy and fun.
My learning curve for this project has really helped stock up my card stash ready for giving!! Woohoo!
Up next for this gorgeous colour combination is Rebecca and her bright cheerful card!!
After you've hopped around the whole team, grab your colours in Ink or cardstock and get creating! You'll see some amazing projects on our facebook challenge page and it's super easy to add yours too! You don't need a blog, just add your photo!!
What a fantastic cache of cards resulting from your experiment. I really like them all, although my normal tendency would be the clean & simple. There's something for everyone here!
