Final Saleabration CASE CTC#222

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEing the Catty.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or to Copy And Share Everything.  Our design team loves to CASE from our Stampin' Up! catalogues.

No photo description available.

This week is the FINAL CASE for the Sale-a-bration catalogues!!  I hope you had a marvellous time this year with our Sale-a-bration promotion - there were so many GORGEOUS rewards this year - I loved every bit of it!!

I've decided to CASE this card on page 8 of our original Sale-a-bration catalogue.  I've CASED the layout and colours of this super cute card to create a Scrapbook Page.  It's been so long since I've done any scrapping, and I really enjoyed myself!!  I've gone and printed off a bunch of photos ready to do some more pages ..... so watch this space!!!

You can see the layout of the card in my page - but it's been expanded somewhat!!  My base cardstock is Old Olive and I've used some of the divine Floral Romance DSP and my photos for my centrepiece instead of the stamped greeting

Originally I was going to use the Butterfly wooden Elements the same as on the card, but my husband was a bit disgusted with that idea for our favourite camping spot!!!  So, I pulled out the wooden Frames Elements from our Annual Catalogue.  They have been waiting to be used on a project like this!!!

As per the original CASE, I've coloured the wooden elements using Ink and/or Markers - Old Olive, Pineapple Punch, Mossy Meadow and some Soft Sea Foam.

Sometimes it's tricky getting started on scrapbooking, but using the layout from the card made the whole process much easier and quicker!!  I hope you can find some amazing inspiration from CASEing our Catty too!!!

Up next is the Lovely Lauren and her Sale-a-bration inspired CASE!!

You are also invited to add your project CASED from our Sale-a-bration catalogues to our facebook challenge page!  We love it when you share your projects with us!!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x

Inspired by food Colour INKspiration #52

Hello and Welcome to our Colour INKspiration Challenge and Blog Hop.

The Challenge is to create a project using ONLY the colours from the challenge - the colours are inspired by some pretty amazing images from Pinterest!!
Image may contain: food

This week we are featuring this delicious looking image showcasing Early Espresso, Whisper White, Granny Apple Green and Soft Sea Foam.

So, with my trusty Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends I've featured the super cute Sale-a-bration So Hoppy Together stamp set (with some backup from Timeless Textures and a greeting from Banners For You)

The Early Espresso was stamped for my outline onto some Soft Sea Foam, and then the images coloured with the Stampin' Blends.  Using the Blends onto coloured cardstock does lead to a bit of bleeding (unlike the Whisper White which is wonderful due to its polished surface) but I really liked this soft edges effect.  I've also used the fern image from the Painted Seasons stamp set, and the cute grass from Fable Friends.  Usually I only use 1 or perhaps 2 stamp sets together so this was a bit of an adventure for me to keep grabbing extra stamp sets to add details!!!

I really enjoyed the journey I travelled using these colours!!  Make sure you keep hopping around the entire design team because the inspiration with this challenge is awesome!!!!

You are also invited to join in the fun and create using these colours, and then add your project to our facebook challenge page with us!!

Until Next Time
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x

P.S. We are only 4 days away from the END of Sale-a-bration!!  Have you any last minute supply needs before this awesome promotion comes to an end??

Ways with DSP CTC#221 Needlepoint Nook

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEIng the CATTY!!

Our challenges are inspired by the Stampin' Up! catalogues as we CASE - Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit projects illustrated over every awesome page.

This week we are CASEing from the Needlepoint Nook chapter of the Occasions Catalogue.

I just couldn't go past the landing page for this chapter - and quite a few of our team have found inspiration here too!!  My inspiration has been the many fabulous ways to use DSP illustrated with the Needlepoint Nook Suite.

Each of my projects features the Painted Seasons bundle from the second release Sale-a-bration pamphlet.  I loooooooove this DSP!  So I wanted to use EVERY piece - hence I've CASED all five cards from the illustration.

I've kept all the cards very simple and used white as my foil for all these gorgeous colours and patterns.

I've also kept most of the cards WITHOUT a greeting - sometimes when I reach in my box of tricks I can't find what I want soooo, some cards featuring images only helps solve that little problem!!

I love the freshness of the white and this DSP with the images only on the front.  The extras are some of the Butterfly Gala sequins, Needlepoint Nook mini buttons and some white bakers twine.

I've also used the Subtle embossing folder, a Stitched Shapes circle framelit, and some dotty ribbon.

I hope you're inspired to check out this chapter of the catalogue too!!  Make sure you hop around everyone to see all the awesomeness to inspire you!!!

You are invited to join our challenge too!!  Head to the Occasions Catalogue and check out the projects featured in the Needlepoint Nook chapter again, and add your project to the lineup on our facebook challenge page!!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,

Colouring Challenge for SUO Challenges.

Hello and Welcome to a fun challenge from SUO Challenges - using Stampin' Up! Only products.

SUO Challenges -

Our challenge this time is to featuring colouring.

I'm featuring Stampin' Blends for my card this time - I've stamped my butterflies with Blueberry Bushel Ink and the coloured using Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight - and where I've overlapped the colours, the Blends have created a gorgeous green!!

I was so inspired by Simone Bartrum and her Split Panel Cards that I wanted to have a go myself!  It's quite easy to do AND there's no waste because the side panel is the part of the card that you cut out!  How clever is that!!

I've also been inspired by Peta Stephen (StampinCat) who embossed Glossy White cardstock using the divine Country Floral embossing folder.  Doesn't this look awesome!!

SUO Challenges -

We'd love you to join in the challenge with us this time!! Grab your colouring gear and add your project to the lineup on our blog!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x

Tag Inspiration CTC#220 Sale-a-bration

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night CASEing the Catty Blog Hop and Challenge!!

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or to Copy And Share Everything - and we do this using the brilliant inspiration of our Stampin' Up! Catalogues.

This week, the challenge is to CASE from our Sale-a-bration Catalogues.

My CASE is inspired by the 2nd release Sale-a-bration flyer, and the lovely card right in the middle - illustrated below.

See those lovely tags and layers, and the greeting right in the centre?  That was my main inspiration to make a bunch of fun and colourful gift bag tags.  These were a feature for the project gift bags at my all day retreat last month!!  (That's how far ahead I was planning for this post!!!  I'm amazed at my forward planning for this one!  teehee)

The papers I've used are all Sale-a-bration papers - the Botanical Butterfly DSP and the Lovely Lipstick foil sheets and these are FREE gifts for sales during Sale-a-bration.

The gorgeous labels are from the Sweet Pins & Tags from the How Sweet it is Suite on page 15 of the Occasions catalogue.  They have an adorable holographic edge to them which goes so well with the foil sheet!!  And that fabulous greeting comes from the Incredible Like You stamp set - and I love what it says!!

We love you to share your gorgeous projects inspired by our Sale-a-bration offerings and it's super easy to add your project to our lineup on our facebook challenge page!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x
