Coastal Inspiration for Colour INKspiration #50

Hello and Welcome to a fun challenge from Colour INKspiration.



We are being inspired by this amazing coastal photograph this time.  

What a beautiful bunch of colours we have to challenge you - they are:  Blueberry Bushel, Bermuda Bay, Sahara Sand, Mango Melody, Coastal Cabana.

I've used these gorgeous colours with the Beauty Abounds stamp set - this was actually a class card we did recently learning about collage stamping - and this stamp set is perfect for layering!!

The Beauty Abounds stamp set coordinates with the fabulous Butterfly Beauty Thinlits and these can be bought in a bundle for a 10% discount!!  Soooo pretty.

I love these bokeh dot stamps - they make a gorgeous background, and create a great cohesive element for the central banner of the card.  

I've coloured the floral swag using Bermuda Bay and Sahara Sand markers in the Blueberry Bushel outline image.

The Coastal Cabana has been used to stamp the lovely butterflies and greeting.

Fable Friends for CTC#217 Happiness Blooms chapter

Hello and Welcome to CASEING the CATTY Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge.

We love to inspired you to look again at our Stampin' Up! catalogues as we Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit the amazing projects illustrated on every page.  

This week, we are CASEING the Happiness Blooms Chapter - pages 24-33.

I have been inspired by this gorgeous Easter basket on page 31.  

I've made a bunch of these styles of baskets with the Nursing Home classes I do, and they've been great!!

This Gingham Gala DSP is just perfect for these baskets because it's 6" x 6" and all you do is score at 2"  and 4" on both sides of the paper to create the perfect basket size!!

I've taken inspiration from the catalogue for the embellishment on the side of each basket.  

There are sooooo many amazing coordinating elements in the Gingham Gala suite - including these adorable adhesive sequins that finish off the greeting to perfection!!

The images were coloured with watercolour pencils.

Some favourites from Occasions and Sale-a-bration!!

Hello and Welcome to a celebration of our favourite Sale-a-bration and Occasions Catalogue products for SUO Challenges!!  We use Stampin' Up! only products to challenge you to explore this amazing range!!

And what a difficult challenge it is to narrow down to my favourites!!  You will have seen me feature a card like this before - so the Grapefruit Grove foil must be one of my favourites!

  I Looooove the effect when this gorgeous foil is embossed!!

I've embossed it with a gorgeous new folder available in the Occasions catalogue - the Lace Dynamic Textured embossing folder.

The colours I've used for this card are: Very Vanilla, Pool Party and Grapefruit Grove. 

ON the inside of the card I've featured another awesome new product from the Occasions Catalogue - the amazing new Rectangle Stitched framelits.  

I've used the smallest rectangle for the greeting on the front of the card too.

 

Because the embossing folder is so glorious I've added minimal embellishment on the front which is super easy with the fabulous Piece of Cake bundle.

I heat embossed the cake in Whisper White onto Pool Party card and then punched out the images and popped them onto some Pool Party shimmer ribbon.  So pretty.

Exciting NEW Sale-a-bration for CTC#216

Hello and Welcome to CASEING the CATTY Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge!!

We are a design team inspiring you to look at our Stampin' Up! catalogues in new and different ways!!

This week, we are challenging you to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit or Copy And Share Everything) from the Sale-a-bration catalogue.  

We have a bunch of NEW Sale-a-bration rewards on offer now - have you seen them yet?  

I was inspired by this little card which features the GLORIOUS Grapefruit Grove foil - actually all my inspiration came from that foil!!  teehee.  It's AH- MAA - ZING!!

I really wanted to make the foil the STAR of the show - because it really is spectacular!  So I've used the foil for the whole front of the card rather than just a piece.  Then I had a dilemma, because I didn't want to cover it up!!  So I've added a greeting and a couple of butterflies.  The ribbons were added as a nod to my original inspiration!!
