Merry Christmas to All Bundle Love for CTC#208

Hello and Welcome to CASEING the CATTY for another brilliant blog hop and challenge.

CASEING is all about the acronym CASE - Copy And Selectively Edit or Copy And Share Everything.  Our design team loves to use the amazing projects from the Stampin' Up! Catalogues (Catty) as an inspiration point to CASE and create.

No automatic alt text available.

This week, the challenge for all of us is to CASE our favourite BUNDLE from the Holiday Catalogue.

There are an amazing amount of Bundles in this little Catalogue!  Eventually, I decided that the Merry Christmas to All Bundle was my favourite - I love those great words for the framelits, and the font on the greeting is just lovely!!  My starting point came from the card on the top left - with it's 2 tone Christmas word.

This is a really simple card but it has a really fun fold to create a card to stand on the mantelpiece as a decor element for the season.

The words have been cut with the framelits using Merry Merlot and then I've swiped some versamark on the bottom half of the words and heat embossed copper powder to create the 2 tones.  This is reflected in the glorious sparkle of the 2 tone ribbon which is also Merry Merlot and Copper.

The inside panel has been stamped and then some red rhinestones added to the holly leaves.  I've added a couple of sprigs of fronds and pinecones using the lovely Pretty Pines thinlits and the Sprig Punch.

The shadow box folds flat for postage too!  Measurements are:
Cardstock cut in half length wise - 10 1/2cm x A4 and then scored at 11cm, 14cm, 25cm, 28cm.  A window was cut out of the side using the Stitched Shapes largest square.

Up next is the lovely Kathryn and her favourite bundle!!  Enjoy!!  Make sure you keep hopping around the whole team to see the amazing bundles in new and different ways!!

We'd totally love you to join in the challenge too and create something using your favourite bundle as a starting point.  It's easy to add your project to the lineup on our facebook challenge page!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,

Incredibly Proud for Colour INKspiration #47

Hello and Welcome to our Colour INKspiration for this month!  Our challenge is to create a project using ONLY the colours of the challenge!!

No automatic alt text available.

The colours this time are:  Shaded Spruce, Blueberry Bushel, Crumb Cake, Powder Pink.
We have a deliciously sweet photo to inspire you this time too.

My project is a card to give to one of my team members to congratulate her.  It features a sneak peek of one of the new stamps from our upcoming Occasions Catalogue called Incredible Like You and has some sweet watercolour floral images.  The largest flower is a 2 step image with glorious detail!

I've tried to create a very simple card using stamping and only a couple of embellishments - ribbon and some metallic pearls.    #simplestamping

Make sure you keep hopping around the whole team - there are, as always, so truly inspiring projects using these colours!!  Up before me was Lovely Lou and

We'd love you to join in the fun too!!  Add your project using these lovely colours to our facebook challenge page.

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,

CASEING anything but a CARD - CTC#207

Hello And Welcome to our CASEING the CATTY Blog Hop and challenge.

Our Challenge is all about CASEING - which is to Copy And Share Everything or
to Copy And Selectively Edit projects from our Stampin' Up! catalogues.

Image may contain: text

This time the challenge is to CASE anything but a card from both catalogues.

I've been inspired by the super cute wreath featured in the Joyous Noel landing page.  I have created a couple like this using the hugely useful Sprig Punch,
but I wanted something a bit simpler and easier for the elderly groups I teach at the Nursing Home and using a punch for a whole wreath is just too much!!

So I've pulled out an old favourite wreath design that uses DSP.  It was so much fun and perfect for the residents to achieve!!  I used a variety of papers for this one - mostly All is Bright DSP with a couple of pieces of Dasher DSP.
Here they are with their wreaths - they loved it!!

After I created a couple of these DSP strip wreaths, I then thought about making a simpler version of the Sprig Punch wreath, and came up with this.

Now I have a few ready for gifts this season!!  It's a good feeling to have some things organised a little early!!

And please join in the fun by adding your project to the lineup on our facebook challenge page!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x

Decor for Christmas for SUO Challenges!

Hello and Welcome to a fun challenge for SUO Challenges.

I'm on the team at SUO!

We love to use only Stampin' Up! Only products and explore the possibilities with the amazing range of products and ideas!  This time the challenge is to create a Christmas Decor item.

I actually messed up a little and created a wedding Christmas dome card - but the idea can certainly be adapted for place cards for your Christmas dinner table!

The inside is the same as a standard card.

The front of the card is where the amazingness happens!  I was inspired by the amazing work of Pamela Whitehead
Image may contain: 1 person, plant and indoor
and Angelina Clark from https://intatwynedesigns.co.uk/intatwynedesigns/  She also has some great you tube videos - one of which teaches this awesome card!

I've used the wonderful envelope punch board to make a little box for the card to protect it and create a lovely present for gift giving .

The card fits in perfectly!!

I've used some of the same images from Floral Frames and from a new stamp set Butterfly Gala to add a couple of embellishments and anchor the lovely new Whisper White Flax Ribbon.

I"ve made a second card with the same supplies and different colours.  All the images were coloured with Stampin' Blends.  The front of the card was die cute with the largest Stitched Shapes oval and the Detailed Floral Thinlits.

This project was amazingly simple but sooooo beautiful.  I've sponged most of the panels with Soft Suede to give the project a vintage look.

I hope you've been inspired and that you will check out all the design team over at SUO Challenges.

I'm on the team at SUO!

And please join in the fun with us and share your favourite Christmas Decor project!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
