Hello And Welcome to our CASEING the CATTY Blog Hop and challenge.
Our Challenge is all about CASEING - which is to Copy And Share Everything or
to Copy And Selectively Edit projects from our Stampin' Up! catalogues.
This time the challenge is to CASE anything but a card from both catalogues.
I've been inspired by the super cute wreath featured in the Joyous Noel landing page. I have created a couple like this using the hugely useful Sprig Punch,
but I wanted something a bit simpler and easier for the elderly groups I teach at the Nursing Home and using a punch for a whole wreath is just too much!!
So I've pulled out an old favourite wreath design that uses DSP. It was so much fun and perfect for the residents to achieve!! I used a variety of papers for this one - mostly All is Bright DSP with a couple of pieces of Dasher DSP.
Here they are with their wreaths - they loved it!!
After I created a couple of these DSP strip wreaths, I then thought about making a simpler version of the Sprig Punch wreath, and came up with this.
Now I have a few ready for gifts this season!! It's a good feeling to have some things organised a little early!!
And please join in the fun by adding your project to the lineup on our facebook challenge page!!
Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia x

I can see how they would have loved making those. YOU must be very patient Miss Julia, I'll bet they love having you around. Simple but oh so effective.
ReplyDeleteJulia your wreaths look amazing. I love the ones with the strips of DSP, such a clever idea
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty and what a wonderful project for your nursing home friends! Curious to know what you used as a base of these lovely wreaths?
ReplyDeleteThankyou Pamela. We used a circle of card stock. I created a donut by punching one circle inside another. I hope this helps!
DeleteReally sweet projects, Julia. The paper strip wreath is very effective!
