It's the last chapter for CTC#200

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge.

We are the CASEING the CATTY team, and we like to challenge you to use the Stampin' Up! catalogues as inspiration to create your own projects as you Copy And Selectively Edit, or Copy And Share Everything from the Catalogues.

No automatic alt text available.

This week, we are CASEING from the Toil and Trouble chapter of the
Holiday Catalogue which is pages 48 - 55.

My inspiration this week comes from page 54 which features the Hostess Stamp Sets available in this catalogue.  I've CASED the gorgeous Thanks card from the top centre, and also the New Year card from the bottom right.

I've changed the colours to Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay for my birthday card.  I've also used a NEW product that will be available to you in November!!  It's a gorgeous bunch of products from the Snowflake Showcase.  There are 2 stamp sets, a set of thinlits, some trinkets and some fabulous White Velvet  12" x 12" sheets of paper.  My card features some of the Snowfall Thinlit dies which have been paired with silver foil and some of the White Velvet Paper.  I coloured the White Velvet with Bermuda Bay and Pool Party Stampin' Blends to give it some multicoloured interest.

The Happy Birthday comes from the Perennial Birthday stamp set, along with the Happy from the Merry Christmas thinlits. There's a little stamping from the Snow is Glistening stamp set (one of the new ones available in November!!)

My second card was inspired by the card on the bottom right.  I've Silver heat embossed one of the lovely greetings from Snow is Glistening and then used my aqua painter and navy ink to create a background wash.  I've then stamped over the top with those cute snowflakes again, and also on the base card.

My final addition was some of the Snowflake Thinlit dies cut out from the White Velvet Sheets.

When I look at my card now, I kind of wished I'd stamped the greeting in Night of Navy rather than the Silver embossing - it seems to be a bit lost in the background wash.

Up next is the amazingly talented Judy with some inspiration from the last chapter of our Holiday Catalogue.

We would love to have you join in the challenge with us too!  It's easy to add your project to our lineup on our facebook challenge page!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x
