Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY.
We have some amazing projects to inspire you and to challenge you to look at our Stampin' Up! catalogues and use them to create some fabulous projects as we Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit from the great projects illustrated.
This week, we are sharing projects inspired by the front and back cover of our Holiday Catalogue. My project has been inspired by the lovely tree card on the back page and more specifically, the amazing Festive Farmhouse DSP.
I've copied the same flag detail at the base of my first piece of DSP, and then used the greeting panel to inspire my card too.
I've coloured the back of a pearlised doily to create the lovely scallops.
There are so many wonderful designs of this DSP, that I really had to make more cards!!
To keep my cards really quick and simple I've used the awesome Gold Foil and Silver Foil edged cards and envelopes - they really create a gorgeous finish to the cards!!
The stamp set featured is the fabulous Punch and stamp Tin Kit of Christmas Traditions.
Up next is the amazing Rachel and her Cover project!!
We'd love to see your projects for our challenge on the facebook page - just add your photo!!
Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia x

DeleteGreat cards Julia. I'm really loving the Gold and Silver Foil Edged cards. This layout is so versatile with any DSP.
ReplyDeleteThankyou peta. I love these foil cards too.
DeleteGreat use of DSP miss Julia, but I love the sneaky use of the coloured pearlised doilies, very clever. Such a versatile punch too
ReplyDeleteThankyou Liz - part of the CASEING process looking very closely at the original!!!
