Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge!!
Our challenge is to CASE the Catty or Copy And Selectively Edit from the great projects illustrated in all our catalogues enabling you to see them in new ways.
This week, we are CASEING from the Frosted Floral Chapter of the Holiday Catalogue -
pages 36 - 41. I have been inspired by the super sweet card at the centre top.
My card is almost a direct CASE except for the stamp set.
As I don't own the First Frost stamp set, I've substituted in Perennial Birthday which is one of those super useful stamp sets that works all year round!!
I've use Pear Pizzazz and Lovely Lipstick markers to colour the stamps for multicoloured stamping - such a great technique.
I love the silver embossing combined with the glitter embossing paste. I've also used some Clear Wink of Stella for my messy colouring on the flowers, but that's notoriously hard to photograph!!
Can you see the centre part of the card has not been stenciled with the embossing paste? I punched out an Everyday Label shape and used that as a mask so that my greeting remains clear of the paste.
I hope you've been inspired!!
Make sure you keep hopping around the crew and see all the fabulous projects inspired by this little chapter of the Catalogue. We love it when you add your project to our challenge. Create a project inspired by this chapter and add it to our lineup on our facebook challenge page.
Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia x
