Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY.
Our design team finds projects in the Stampin' Up! catalogues and the CASES (Copy And Selectively Edit or Copy And Share Everything) them to inspire you to see the potential in all the amazing projects, and to challenge you to have a go at CASEING too!!
This week we are CASEING the Joyous Noel Chapter of the Holiday Catalogue - pages 28 - 35 and I have been inspired by the little card on the bottom right of the landing page.
I love the little diagonal element in the bottom corner - what a great way to show off some more of the lovely DSP and to give interest!! My project uses the wonderful Frosted Floral DSP - you really need to see this in person, the shimmer and watercoloured images are just Gorgeous!!
My project is actually a gift card holder based on a wonderful project by Deseree Krumm that you can see here. My measurements are different that hers so I could adapt to my card and paper, but the design is all hers. On my writing panel I've stamped using the Pressed Flowers hostess stamp set with coordinating colours of Blackberry Bliss, Tranquil Tide, and Mint Macaron. The greeting on the front comes from Very Vintage - also a hostess stamp set.
This is quite a simple project but the luscious paper does all the hard work because its soooooo beautiful!!!
Up next is the wonderful Liz and her project inspired by the Joyous Noel chapter. Make sure you keep hoping all the way around the team - you'll love it all!!
And after you've completed the hop, please join in the fun and add your project to the lineup on our facebook challenge page.
Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia x
