Hello and Welcome to our SUO Challenges!
We are challenging you to share your projects featuring Celebrations of any Type - just make sure you use Stampin' Up! Only products!! How easy and fun is that!! For this challenge, I've decided to create one of my favourites - it's almost like a party in a box!!
I've tried to make a couple of guy cards - it can be hard to create cards for men! I've used some Wood Textures DSP to embellish my box, and then added balloons punched from card stock and from the fantastic Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper pack. They've been mounted onto window sheet cut into strips using mini glue dots!
This card is so fantastic because it folds to fit into a standard envelope, and then when you pop it out, it totally comes to life!!! I've created my template so that I can create 2 cards out of every sheet of cardstock, so basically the card is the same size as a standard card, but it's a box that explodes with fun and celebration!!
Base Section
Cardstock is 21 cm x 14.5cm
Centre Score line at 7.5cm

When the box is folded, it can remain flat (which is the size of a
standard card) for postage, and then can be folded out to make a box.

Section
On
the inside of the box, adhere 2 sections of card stock to give the box
stability and to create some ledges to adhere embellishments on for the
exploding images!
These
2 sections are 7cm x 4cm and scored along the long side at 1cm and 6cm. Use adhesive on each of these side flaps and
pop the ledges inside the base of the box.
Make sure you check out all of the projects from the whole design team - and then add your project featuring Celebration to our lineup!!
Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia x
