Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night blog hop CASEING the CATTY.
Our goal is to share with you some great projects inspired by the Stampin' Up! catalogues as we Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selective Edit projects featured and created by the awesome staff at Stampin' Up! headquarters.
This week our inspiration comes from the Kids and Babies chapter - pages 80 - 91.
I've been inspired by this lovely card on the left of the photo on page 88.
This is the card I've created for a special order for a customer. I love making cards to order! I've used the same layout for my card - although I've changed to a larger square size. My card features an embossed background with the quilt top embossing folder rather that the patterned stamping used on the original.
I've also had some fun with a very special sneak peek of some products that will be available next month! Woo Hoo. The bundle includes the beautiful Blended Seasons stamp set and the Stitched Seasons coordinating framelits. There is also another fantastic set of watercolour pencils available too.
I've coloured the flowers using the Granny Apple Green and Flirty Flamingo watercolour pencils, and then used the clear Wink of Stella pen to blend and make them sparkly!! There are some Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler pencil highlights on the flowers too. The centres are coloured with Crushed Curry.
The Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green are a lovely combination together!!
We'd love to see your projects inspired by the Kids and Babies chapter too! Add your photo to the lineup here on our facebook page.
Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia x
